Fiscal: Calling my next witness, Dr. Rene Enriquez Cam

Pls state your name, age, and personal circumstances

A: I am Dr. Rene Enriquez Cam, 40 years old, resident of Lapu-lapu City, I

am a medico-legal officer of NBI Cebu City

Offer: We offer this testimony of Dr. Cam as corroborative evidence to

formally testify the content of the medico-legal.

Fiscal: May we make a manifestation at this court that the qualification of

the Medico-legal officer expert witness has already been admitted during
Pre-trial

Q: On June 2, 2000 Dr. Do you recall if your reported to your office

on that day?

A: Yes. I did

Q: What was your tour of duty?

A: it started at 8 in the morning of June 2, 2000 to 8 in the evening on the

same day

Q: Do you recall having conducted an autopsy examination on that

day?

A: Yes. I did.

Q: Will you tell us what case was it?

A: I have prepared a document regarding the case that was the autopsy of
Jacinto T. Bayron

Q: Will show you a document entitled Necropsy Report. Is this the

same report that you made?

A: Yes

Q: Whose signature appearing above the name, Rene Enriquez Cam,

MD.

A: Its mine, Sir.

Q: Where did you conduct the said autopsy?

A: I performed it at the Forever Living Funeral Home, the NBI morgue of

Cebu City

Q: What was the time you conducted the autopsy?

A: at 7 pm on June 2, 2000

Q: Was the dead body already identified?

A: Yes

Q: Who identified it?

A: Sergio Bayron, the brother of the Victim.

Q: According Sergio Bayron, what was the name of the victim?

A: Jacinto T. Bayron

Q: You said that you conducted the autopsy of Jacinto T. Bayron,

what was your findings Doctor?

A: After the examination of the dead body, the findings were reduced into
writing entitled Necropsy Report

Fiscal: May we make of record that the Necropsy Report has already been
marked as Exhibit A-1 during Pre-trial

Q: Dr, you mentioned in your autopsy report that the victim suffered
gunshot wounds, could you tell this honorable court, how many
wounds did the victim suffered?

A: There were 3 gunshot wounds suffered by the victim

Q: Now you mentioned 3 gunshot wounds, where were these wounds

located in the body?

A: They are located at the right side of the face, below the right eye, and
the second is located at the right side of the head just in front of the right
ear, and the third is located at the right side of the head

Q: Did you find what was the cause of the death of Jacinto T. Bayron?

A: Yes

Q: Will you tell us?

A: In the Postmortem Findings, the 3 gunshots on the head was the cause
of his death
Fiscal: May we make a manifestation in this honorable court that the
word cause of death of Jacinto T. Bayron as stated in the Necropsy
Report has already been marked as exhibit A-2

Q: Now Dr, you told us about the wounds which you found in the
head of Jacinto Bayron, could you tell us from your experience what
kind of instrument was used by the assailant to inflict the wounds on
the victim

A: Well, the instrument used could be caused by a bullet from a gun

Q: Now, Dr, you mentioned the wound was caused by a bullet, can
you tell us more or less how was the injury inflicted?

A: Base on my examination, the 3 gunshot wounds have 3 entrance

Q: Now Dr, what else did you do after you conduct the autopsy
report? LEADING

A: I prepared a sketch

Q: What sketch is this Dr?

A: This is what we use to list down the injuries during our autopsy that is
the sketch of the human body and the head of a person

Q: who prepared this sketch?

A: I did Sir

Q: Do you have a signature on this sketch?

A: Yes, I do. I believe they were under the words: Medico-legal officer

A: Yes I have

Q: Do you have the death certificate of Jacinto Bayron?

A: Yes Sir I have it

Q: Now, that person named in the death certificate as Jacinto Bayron

and the one mentioned in the autopsy report and the, are they the
same Jacinto Bayron whose wounds you examined during the
autopsy?

A: yes, same person

Q: Dr., at the time you examined the victim at 7pm of June 2, 2000,
Do you know the time of his death?

A: there is no medical basis to prove the exact time of the death, however,
this ranged less than a day sir
