It is with some consideration and thought that I approach the subject

of creating a system of working combining elements of traditional

witchcraft which by its nature is mostly instinctual and the structure
of ritual magic celebration.

In many way the two are distinctly opposites but i feel with some
adjustments it maybe possible.

We will start with the common full moon which is apart of witchcraft
celebration.

We start by deciding the venue ideally of course a woodland clearing

we make a start.

Decide your quarters and in some way mark them symbolically, They
should consist of the four elemental winds, when working in nature
please decide their position based on environment rather than
compass points.

if however not clear or working indoor use the astrological quarters

rather then the western mystery tradition. this goes Fire in East,
Earth in South, Water in West and Air in North, place an appropriate
coloured candle or plain in each position.

Place a cauldron in the centre of the space with some water in A

candle or lantern maybe place next to it

Prepare the space, a note on the space most traditional witches

don't have a magic circle to work in, when your working with nature
it is considered inappropriate.

However you do set up a ritual space that which your are working in
it can be any shape or size. and its boundaries are really loosely
defined so any ritual or energy work is uninhibited by boundaries.
Protection is provided by the four winds and the person in role of the
guardian.

Energy is always focussed to the centre of the space either the

cauldron or altar if there is one.

Then sweep the space three times, first the ground second the
midheaven thirdly the sky. There is a standard rhyme which I usually
adapt to the occasionAway I sweep all troubles and ills,Away I sweep
the Wind and the Rain,Away I sweep till I turn again.

Then call in the four Winds, these are the elements but seen in the
form of Winds. These are in essence the Elemental spirits which
manifest if your lucky in the form of a mist or almost whirlwind
energy. You call them in with respect like inviting an great aunt or
uncle familiar but aware of how much more they know then you do.
You can use a wand or stave our traditionally the broom. NEVER ever
point a knife or sword at the elements.

An example Call would be O great Winds of the Fire we call to

thee,to join with us in warmth and empower us,and burn away all
evil forces that would work against us.

O great Winds of Earth we call to thee, join us from the mountain top

and the deepest caveClear away all that is in our way

Once the Quarters are invited then Invite the God and Goddess

We gather here in celebration of our White Goddess who guides us

with her light, Now as always, showing us the safe path to follow.

Lord Herne of the Shadows we gather here to honour your wife our
Mother in all her glory.
O Goddess of the Moon and Stars

We ask that you grant us you power and wisdom to fulfil your work

O Herne we seek your wisdom and protection in these rites we do

this night

Call to the Moon visualising the energy of the Moon being drawn
into your Chalice/Cauldron

Chant these words while doing so

Ambra Monda Stella

Ambra Monda Stella

Ambra Monda Stella

Gis Mombra Shaska

(You may also bring the energy into your knife or sword if focusing
for particular spell )

Bless Water/wine

So we unite the God and Goddess in us all by drinking her

Watersand eating her fruits,

Then all partake of the liquid and use for spell or other magical
workings. Unused liquid may be store or taken away for further
workings.

Scrying into the water cauldron is also recommended group work

during Full Moon
