Dear Madam

I would be grateful if you could have the following motion inserted in my name;

That this House has no confidence in Hon. Showkutally Soodhun, presently the Vice
Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius and holding the portfolio of the Ministry of
Housing and Lands and this House resolves that the said member should be removed as
Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Housing and Lands of the Republic of Mauritius.

I hope that this motion will be placed on the agenda of the National Assembly as a
matter of priority at the very next sitting since I am sure that you share the view of all the
citizens of our Republic that recent events concerning this member make this an urgent
matter of public concern.
