To Whom It May Concern:

I had the pleasure of getting to know Jaime Hummel as a PS II student teacher during the winter
semester of 2017. Jaime managed her practicum with grace and competence, and seemed to fall into her
teaching responsibilities naturally. Jaime had a very successful second practicum, and exemplified many
characteristics more representative of a veteran teacher, than that of a PS II.

Jaime is very good at establishing positive relationships with her students. She manages to create a fun-
filled, focused, respectful classroom environment, which appeals to students of all backgrounds and
ability levels. She is also very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her subject major of Social Studies.
In addition, she is able to use practical examples, and hands-on experiences to provide authentic learning
opportunities for all of the students in her class. The students also benefitted greatly from Jaimes ability
to explain material thoroughly.

I feel that Jaimes natural ability to adapt to the many complexities of teaching, as well as her positive
attitude and energy, will serve her very well in her future career in education. I wish Jaime great success
in her career, and would be more than happy to discuss her qualities further.
