FOREWORD
Nowadays, we no longer imagine life without some things or phenomena. But some time ago,
they were geat inventions.
Mankind is incredibly inventive. From the moment someone smashing one stone to another
made a sharp edge tool until the day the probes taking photos and sending them back to Earth
landed on Mars, some of the achievements were considered to be exceptionally revolutionary.
Every invention changes people's lives and, undoubtedly, influences cultural behaviour. This
is the essential idea of the project Invention and Cultural Behaviour.
It was very interesting to find out how each nation evaluates the inventions and what
impact the inventions had on their culture. In this project we explore how different means of
communication, medical inventions and inventions in the field of food technology have affected the
culture of different countries.
The project involves partners from 7 schools: Lithuania, Italy, Slovenia, Romania, Poland,
Turkey and Spain.
The project is very important for students. They learn to communicate and cooperate, get
to know other cultures, find friends from other countries, improve their self-esteem and self-
expression.

LET US TRAVEL AROUND EUROPE
So far, there have been two mobilities in the Inventions and Cultural Behaviour project. First was
in Romania, the second was the mobility in Italy. Both have been an excellent opportunity to meet
people from different countries and cultures. Here is, what students want o say about them...
This incredible trip to Romania Poiana Sibiului- gave me a big opportunity to improve my level of
English and to meet new people. After this Erasmus trip, I feel so good because I have met new
people and a new culture for me, like the type of food or the type of houses that they had.
The thing that I cant forget of this trip, because it is the thing that I liked best, is the beauti-
ful city of Sibiu. We went there on Wednesday, 8 February, it was a cold day, but I had fun visit-
ing different museums and spending all day with my new friends; the little view of the old part of
the city was incredible.

My trip to Romania was a great experience for me, because I love travelling, and doing it with peo-
ple from other countries makes me speak in english with them. This makes you learn and evolve in
another language.
Before all this started, I was very nervous, because I didnt know the people I had to live with in
the following days, and if I would be able to connect with them, but in the end it all went very nice
and I had a really good time.
The first couple of days we -the spanish group- stayed together, but in the next days we started
talking to others when we had some free time.
The best thing about this experience wasnt the different places we visited, but the people we
met and all the things we learnt with them about their cultures and their languages.

What we experienced from February 4 to 9 in Sibiu in Romania was a fantastic adventure. Stu-
dents of ITET Federico II" of Capua, in fact travelled to this part of Europe under the Erasmus
Plus program which is a multilateral partnership between schools from seven European countries:
Lithuania, Italy, Spain, Poland, Turkey, Slovenia and Romania. They were days of intense and rich
experiences that thrilled us and we will not soon forget especially the friendly relations that we
established with the other students who participated in the meetings. In addition to library activi-
ties with Romanian students, we visited several sites of historical interest, such as museums with
typical customs of the population, the Orthodox and Christian churches, and above all, what we ex-
pected with more anxiety, the birthplace of Dracula, of whom the guide told us the story. It was
also interesting to watch the typical local dances that were made on the first day as welcome. We
stayed at a guesthouse in Poiana together with Turkish, Spanish and Polish girls with them there
was immediately an atmosphere of sympathy and friendship and in fact, we are still in touch with
them via the web. Surely, it was a very important and formative for us meeting new people, new
cities and new cultures. Moreover, we could improve our English, the language in which communica-
tion was done. Now we just have to wait for our new friends to come to Italy, host them and let
them know our beautiful land.

My experience in Romania thanks to the Erasmus+ project has been very exciting. I left from Italy
on the 4th of February and reached Poiana Sibiului in the late evening, The following day I met all
the students from the countries participating in the project, friends from:
Lithuania, Turkey, Poland, Romania, Spain, Slovenia
I was accommodated at a Rumanian family that was very kind and I will not forget the Romanian
cheese I tasted because it was very good. I was very surprised about the landscapes full of snow,
the churches from orthodox, protestant to catholic ones. All my team visited very interesting
places from Sibiu to Sighisoara.
I was impressed by the traditional costumes and dances that I tried to dance on the last day, on
the 11th February during the farewell party in Poiana. I think that thanks to this project I was
able to meet new people and boys and girls from Europe, communicate with them and exchanges
ideas or simply play games with them (using the English language at which I am not so good JJ). I
am happy of this experience and soon I will meet new people from this project in my country in
May.
I will not forget this trip to Romania anymore.

Im Grateful to Erasmus+ Project
On 6th 10th February, 2017 me, Rokas Kambleviius, together with my classmates Rokas
Dapys, Domantas Jokubauskas (we all are the students from Lithuania, Kaunas J.Urbys
Catholic Basic School), an English teacher Dilda Railien and a social educator Kristina
ilien visited Sibiu, Romania, where the partners from all projects schools arrived at the
meeting of Erasmus + project Inventions and Cultural Behaviour. The students and their
teachers came from Poland, Slovenia, Italy, Spain and Turkey.
What were my impressions about this project meeting? It was a great fun. Learning not
only to work in a team, but also communicating to students and teachers in English was a
challenge.
In addition to project activities that we did at school in Poiana Sibiului, we had a great
time together. We tried various traditional dishes, investigated the new places, danced,
sang, spoke in different languages.
I really enjoyed the Erasmus + "Inventions and Cultural Behaviour" project trip to Roma-
nia.
Living in a Romanian family let us see the life of the ordinary people from very near, we
could find out the similarities and differences between Romanian and Lithuanian people.
I am extremely grateful to Erasmus + project for an opportunity to learn and to get a very
new experience.

What Ive Learnt from Erasmus+ Project
I really enjoyed the Erasmus+ "Inventions and Cultural Behaviour" project trip to
Romania because of different reasons. Firstly, I saw a lot of new things that I had never
seen before. There were many students from other countries who were very friendly and
kind. Secondly, we did some project activities at school which were totally new for me. So,
its a kind of a new experience to work in such a big group of people where teachers and
students do so many activities together.
Well, we spent a lot of time at school in Poiana Sibiului, we were talking about inven-
tions we are going to work on, we presented the logos which we had made up at our local
school.
Also, we did some sightseeing in Romania. We travelled to some towns and cities
then. We were lucky because we got very good guides who showed and told a lot of useful
information about the history of Romania and those particular places.
All in all, the stay in Romania helped me to become more friendly, responsible and
even ambitious. I would like to take part in Erasmus+ projects in future. And for the time
being, I would like to go back to Romania and meet Erasmus+ project students I made
friends with there once again.

Hi! My name is Karolina Brgiel. I'm from Poland. I'm in Polish Erasmus+ group. In February I was
in Romania for the first mobility of the project. We left our village at 5am and arrived to Poiana
Sibiului at 9pm. Me and Amelia stayed in a guest house. This day we met girls from Turkey and Ita-
ly, they were so nice!
On the first day we went to the Romanian school and met all the teams. At school there was a
welcoming ceremony. The students showed their folk songs and national dances. Then we went to
the school library. We got badges with our names and countries on them, project pens, magnets,
files and notebooks. Then we started working on a project, first all countries showed their films or
presentations about their schools and then we showed our ideas about inventions. In the evening
we went to our guest house and met with Spanish girls.
Next day we went to school and had a logo competition. Logo from Spain won, but mine took sec-
ond place! After that we had a break and then we went to visit Poiana Sibiului. We saw old church,
school and Jina Museum. This evening we met with girls from other countries. We had a really
great time, we played music from our countries and we talked about everything.
On the third day we went to Sibiu, we visited old town and some Museums. We saw some monu-
mental gothic churches, they were amazing. We were in Pharmaceutics Museum, Brukenthal Muse-
um and in the end in Popular Civilization Museum. In this last one we had a big snow battle. All of
students were totally wet and frozen.
On the fourth day we went to Sighisoara. We were really excited because of that! First we
stopped in the "Hermann Oberth" museum. We saw some models of space ships and astronauts
suits. Then we arrived to "The town of Dracula". We heard the history of Dracula and saw his cas-
tle - it was so interesting. Then we had free time there so we went to lunch with the Spanish team.
On the last day we went to school and we worked on project activities. Next it was "Romanian
evening" party. First the headmaster of the school gave us certificates of participation in the pro-
ject. Then we danced and talked with students of school in Poiana. It was incredible because they
took photos and added us on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. They were so nice and so friendly.
After that it was time to say goodbye. There were a lot of tears.
Next morning we started our trip back to Poland. For me it was a sad journey, and most of the
time I slept. We spent a great time in Romania, met amazing people and saw beautiful places. All of
this was amazing. I recommend projects like Erasmus+ as it was a really nice experience.

Memories from Romania
Hello, I am Amelia and together with my friends Karolina and Dominik we took part in the first
student mobility of the I&CB project in Romania.
We left our homes on 5 February at 5am. In Biecz we met the Lithuanian team and then we trav-
elled to Romania by minibus through Slovakia and Hungary together. It was a long journey we ar-
rived in Poiana Sibiului after 15 hours. There we met teachers and students from other countries.
First day, 6th February
After breakfast, we went to school in Poiana Sibiului where we became the main attraction. Then
there was the welcome ceremony, during which the schoolchildren presented national songs and
dances. Later we went to the library, where students gave presentations of their schools. Then we
discussed the project and later dinner at the guesthouse. We spent the evening chatting with oth-
er students
Second day, 7th February
The second day started with the logo competition, which was won by the Spanish team. After
lunch, we visited the museum in Jina. We saw an old church and a school where we wrote some nice
words on the blackboard. In the evening, we met in the Turkish girls' room and listened to music.
Third day, 8th February
On Wednesday, we went to Sibiu. We saw the old town, The Pharmaceutics Museum, Brukenthal
Museum and the Museum of Civilization. In the afternoon, we visited the Astra museum, where we
had a snowball fight and got really wet.
Fourth day, 9th February
We went to Sighisoara. On the way, we stopped to visit the Hermann Oberth Museum in Medias.
Then we visited the town of Dracula, and the castle where he lived.
Fifth day, 10th February
In the morning, we did some project work. After lunch there was a "Romanian evening" party. We
were given certificates and small gifts and later we learnt some dances.
On Saturday, it was time to say goodbye and go back home. In Romania, we met great people and
spent wonderful moments. We will remember it for many years.
Amelia Kmiotek (Poland)
We all met up in front of the school at about 7 o'clock. We left shortly after. We we're travel-
ling for about 10 hours. When we came to Sibiu, we stopped at a hotel, where the teachers
were staying. Then a teacher from the school in Poiana came and took us to the families we
were staying at. Me and Nika were staying at the same family. The host's name was Vladut. His
mother and father were both really nice. We slept on a couch in the same room. There was a
big fireplace and it kept the room really warm. The next day we went to school at about 8 o'
clock. At the school we first had a welcoming ceremony, where the students showed their nati-
onal dances and their folk songs that go with them. After that we headed to the schools li-
brary. They gave us little badges with our names and a map with a notebook, a pen, a magnet
and a little booklet. After some time we all had a presentation about the inventions we chose
and the presentation of the schools. After that we went home and ate lunch. We went back to
school and stayed there till about 7 pm. When everything finished, we went home and a ne-
ighbor visited us. Her name was Daria and she was really nice and she knew English well. The
next day it was quite boring not really anything to mention. The other students were really nice
and the student from the other countries were nice. It was the same as the day before but
this time we went home sooner. On the third day we went to Poiana and we visited the old part
of the town and we visited a lot of churches and we visited a museum. After that we went to
Super Mamma and ate. After that we had 1 free hour. We used it to go get a drink and looked
at the shops. After that we headed back but we went to a museum of old houses and farm life.
While we were walking round the place, we started talking to other students. I came close to
Melike, a student from Turkey, and we had a snowball fight with other students. After we fi-
nished the walk around the museum, we headed home. The next day we went to Sigisoara and
we had a little tour. We saw the church and the old part of the town and a lot of little tourist
attractions shops. After that we had some free time. Meanwhile the students needed to take
pictures to put it into a photo contest. After that we went home; the ride was really long. The
next day, the last day we were staying, the person who won the photo contest was voted by the
teachers, Nika won. After that we went to a hotel in Poiana and there was a party! It was really
nice. Everyone enjoyed it and they had fun. I was sad that I had to say goodbye to some people.
After that we went home and packed. The next day we had to get up really early and we hit the
road. It was long. I don't remember much because I slept most of the time. We came home at
about 7 o'clock.
It was really nice in Romania and it was a great experience and I would recommend to students
to go on this kind of things. The people were really nice and everyone was friendly.

My trip to Romania
Last February we travelled to Romania-Poiana Sibiului. We drove this 843 km with a mini bus
and 5 teachers came with us. We were there for 5 days. I stayed with a Romanian family in Po-
iana Sibiului. They were very nice and hospitable. We saw a lot of interesting museums, histori-
cal buldings and we worked for our project. We had a compitition for the best foto from Roma-
nia also. This trip was a great experience for me, because we had the opportunity to improve
our English and made new friendships.

Hello! My name is Emir Ali Hazer. Im 15 years old student from Turkey/ Istanbul. In this
article, I will give you some information about our Erasmus+ Project to th eRomanian city of
Sibiu.
We went to Sibiu with five teachers and three children. There, I stayed with a romanian family
in Poiana Sibiului. They were great. We saw interesting museums, (Farmaceutic,
HermannOberth) historical buildings, old churches and incredible places.Meanwhile, we did a
competition for the logo and we have worked for our subject. (InventionsandCulturalBehavior)

We have found the opportunity to improve our English and made excellent friends. I can say it
was a very good experience for us, even for a week.
We had great time there. We have experienced wonderful things like trying to teach our own
languages with Italian students.I feel very joyful aboutgetting a chance to get there. Because
that was my firstexperience to go to another county.Everything was great.

Romania travel
Early in the morning Cluj-Napoca boarded the plane.Then we went by car to the city of
Poiana.After eating, the teachers went tothe hotel and students also went to their homes. We
had a good time.
Next day came from other countries teachers and students.
We met at school. They made welcome ceremony for us. t was really great. The school we
visited and we had a meeting for the project. 3.the day we went to school and we chose the
Project logo. After a meeting of the coordinators we visited the Museum of jina.
We ate diner and the day is over. 4.the day we went to Sibiu and there we
visited Museum Brukenthal and Museum Farmaceutico .We visited the Museum of Civilization.

Cultural Behavior, in witch we had to host students from different countries (Spain, Italy,
Turkey, Poland, Lithuania and Slovenia) and to take part to the activities organized by the
teachers from our school.
Personally, I am very glad that I took part to this project, because it was a very interesting
experience. I had the occasion to meet some beautiful people, who became my friends later on.
I was very excited to listen to them, talking about specific things in their country, like: music,
food, school program, culture, traditional staff etc.
During these six days, besides the projects we attended in our school, we visited two historical
cities, Sibiu and Sighisoara. In Sibiu, we visited Astra Museum and the History Museum, but
also, we had a short visit to the Pastoral Museum in Jina, a village right near Poiana. Last night
was a special night, in my opinion, because all the students had the opportunity to listen
traditional music from our village, but also to dance with some profesional dancers. It was also
hard for all of us when they had to live, because we became very comfy and close with each
other.
To sum up, I like to say that this type of experience is like a must in every persons life,
because this way we get to know things about people from different countries, we have the
occasion to practice English, but also we can improve our cultural informations.

The visit in Romania
Between February 5-11, 2017, the secondary school Ioan Ban Dasclul of Poiana Sibiului,
Sibiu county, Romania has hosted the first learning/teaching/training activity of the Erasmus
Plus project Inventions and Cultural Behavior. The mobility was attended by 24 teachers and 26
students from all the participating countries, i.e. Romania, Lithuania, Turkey, Poland, Italy,
Slovenia and Spain. The objectives of the activity were to share information on national
representative inventions from the areas covered by the project, to vote on the logo of the
project and to visit museums in the towns of Sibiu, Media and Sighioara.
During the visit, the Romanian team had 8 students and their families fully involved with
the accommodation and well-being of the guests.
At the end of the five-day mobility, the Romanian children were asked to give feedback,
which certified that they were all very impressed by the manner in which they were able to
interact and collaborate with the foreign children, and that they also had some other added
benefits, such as:
A great way to consolidate and improve their acquired English language and
communication skills, as English was the appointed project language that all partners had to use;
A positive attitude and exchange of knowledge regarding traditions, customs and
societal particularities from all the partner countries;
The capitalization on similarities concerning the occupation, preoccupation and desire to
learn that are somewhat common to people of the same age from any country;
They were able to draw comparisons between educational systems and the way in which
various nations place importance of certain subject matters, target certain expected results
and conduct specific evaluation programs;
They were actively involved in the voting of the project logo and in the organization of a
photo contest, which left them very happy and motivated.
All of these aspects, as well as the opportunity to get to know more about the lifestyle
of people from different countries, turn these types of interparticipatory projects into a
launchpad toward a better intercultural and professional knowledge throughout a united Europe
proper.

STUDENTS OPINION ALWAYS COUNT
School is an important part of our lives, it is a place of learning, teaching, exchanging all
kinds of knowledge and expressing opinion. Being a part of the Erasmus school furthermore
expands our horizonswe are no longer narrowed to countries borders, we are a part of
the international movement, which enables us to think broader, to accept and cherish dif-
ferent cultures and enriches us with long-life experiences.
MOBILITY TO ITALY
Our school ITET Capua has participated in the ERASMUS PROJECT INVENTIONS And
CULTURAL BEHAVIOUR and hosted six foreign schools from Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Spain,
Slovenia and Turkey. Eighteen students aged 14-18 have had a full Italian immersion staying for
a week with Italian host families.
On 22 May, a warm welcome ceremony was held at Musical High School Gonfalone where a
concert greeted our guests. It was amazing! After the ceremony, we had lunch in a typical res-
taurant where we tasted delicious food; in the afternoon, we visited the historical center of
Capua, with its narrow lanes and the beautiful longboard churches.
The day after we visited the Communication Museum in Rome ;everybody enjoyed the capital of
Italy with its extraordinary landmarks and tourist attractions.
We could not miss a visit to our local attractions: the Amphitheatre of S. Maria C.V. and the
Royal Palace in Caserta.
In Naples we visited La Citt della Scienza and its Corporea, the first interactive museum on
the human body, an extraordinary journey devoted to knowledge. We had a great time in Na-
ples ;we went to Mergellina harbor and walking along the coastal road we admired the impres-
sive Castel dellOvo and the spectacular view of the Gulf and the Volcano Vesuvius. The city
tour continued across the historical center to Piazza Plebiscito, where we visited the pavilions
of Futuro Remoto, an event about the greatest social and scientific innovation. We stopped
for lunch in a typical pizzeria where we tasted the most famous specialty of Naples.
On the last day the Erasmus partners paid a visit to the Town Hall in Capua and were welcomed
by the deputy Mayor and the Councilor of Culture; there was an exchange of gifts and a lot of
pictures!! In the late morning, a tour to the Campanian Museum where we were astonished by its
rich historical, artistic and archaeological collection. There were also a lot of activities
(workshops) at our school, such as the presentation of inventions in the field of communica-
tionradio, mobiles, computersthrough videos, power points, posters, and finally the presen-
tation of the most famous Steve Jobs quotations which represent his philosophy and spiritual
will.
The Erasmus project has represented a wonderful opportunity to broaden our horizons and be
introduced to other countries with different cultures.
Having participated in the Erasmus project, I was given the opportunity to expand my
knowledge in the English language and also to broaden new horizons. Welcoming a foreign stu-
dent at home means not only offering him a chance to discover Italian daily life, traditions and
way of life but to give all home members a unique experience.; it was an opportunity to know
new perspectives and discover other cultures.
I hosted two students, a Slovenian girl and a Lithuanian boy; at first we were afraid to host
foreign students because of cultural diversity and also different eating habits but we have to
say that it was a joy to have them at home, with us, day and night, to share our daily life; good
times and a lot of laughs!!
During their stay, my Erasmus friends familiarized with Italy and our culture and also learnt
some Italian words! It was an opportunity to make our country better known in the world.
We had a great time together and my family and I did everything to make them feel home and
when they left it was a great emotion and we promised to meet us again soon.. Thanks Eras-

The Visit in Capua Was Amazing!
The Erasmus + project programme in Italy gave me some knowledge and experience
about the daily routine of Italian people, their culture, and their life in Capua. I had a great op-
portunity to improve my English skills. I even managed to learn some Italian as I communicated
with Italian students a lot and they taught me a lot of words and phrases.
I met many people of different nationalities, speaking different languages but, de-
spite that, they all were very friendly! It was so exciting! I was totally amazed about it. My im-
pressions about the project Inventions and Cultural Behavior visit to Italy are so strong. It
was awesome!

My Impressions about Erasmus + Inventions and Cultural Behaviour in Italy
If you ask me how it was, I would need a good couple of days to explain it all. It
was truly amazing! New friends, new experience, lots of adventures.
First of all, the family we stayed in was amazing. I felt like home. They took great
care of me and my friend Victoria. They were really friendly and welcoming. The mother cooked
delicious food and always packed us lunch for the day.
The presentation days were also very interesting. It was interesting to see how
people from other countries work in groups. Communicating between different countries was a
real fun. Everyone was also really friendly. I liked the way everything was organized. I also
loved that we could show our writing and drawing skills when we were asked to draw and write
about a random future invention.
We went to Rome, Napoli and other places. The sightseeing tours were amazing;
they will for sure be kept in my mind for a long time, I should say, for the rest of my life. We
saw so many beautiful places, the mountains, the little shops. Capua (our hometown for the
week) was so amazing! We took evening walks around the city, went for ice cream (the ice
cream is so good). There was actually no time to feel sad or lonely because we were surrounded
by people all the time.
It was actually really sad to leave. On Friday (last day) there was a party and eve-
ryone was dancing and just having fun, as if they know each other for ages. Of course, everyone
was in tears when the time to say goodbye came.
Ill miss that place forever! But, as Ive promised, I will come back some day!
Grazie ! Thank you! Ai! For the amazing journey and amazing memories. I love
Erasmus + programme!

Trip to Italy
Hi! My name is Micha Majewski and I`m from Poland. On 20th May our teachers, I and my
friends ukasz Skaba and Piotr Kuchta met in front of our school and started our trip to the
second mobility of I&CB project. First we travelled to Cracow airport and there we caught our
flight to Naples. We arrived at 17:15 and met our host families in Capua. I met Francessco
Fusco and his father Alfredo. At home I met his mum Carmelina, his brother Antimo and his
sisters Margarita and Milena. After dinner we went for a short sightseeing.
21 May-Capua
There were no project activities on Sunday so Francesco showed me his garden and his dogs
Bella and Bongo. Later we walked around Capua. In the evening we met Ceyhun from Turkey and
took him to our house. We shared a room.
22 May-Capua
The day began with the concert at school, then students presented their projects. Later we
had coffee break and went sightseeing.
23 May-Rome
I was in Rome some years ago and I saw the same places. We saw Panhteon, Di Trevi Fountain
and Spanish Stairs. We visited the Museum of History of Communication too.
24 May-Caserta
We started this day with presentations about Steve Jobs. Italian team won the competition.
Later we went to Caserta and we saw the old amphitheatre and Reggia di Caserta that I saw
with Francesco on the first day.
25 May-Naples
On this day we went to Naples we visited the Museum of Human Body and spent some great
time at a Science Festival.
26 May-Capua
On the last day of the project we met the mayor of Capua and in the evening there was a fare-
well party.
27 May-Capua
I woke up at 5:00, I did some packing and it was time to go to the hotel to meet the teachers. I
said goodbye to Francesco and his family and went back home.

Hello! I`m Piotr Kuchta and I come from Poland. I and my friends ukasz and Micha take part
in the I&CB Project in May we visited Italy.
20th May
We left school at 12.30. From the Cracow airport we flew to Naples . I travelled by plane for
first time so I was a bit nervous at first, but then it was amazing. We arrived to our host fam-
ilies at 8 p.m and all of them were great.
21st May
On Sunday I met students from other countries. My host family showed us Capua and other
beautiful cities next to the sea. I tried original Italian food for the first time and it was great.
22nd May
That day we saw the Italian school orchestra performance. It was amazing. Then we met stu-
dents from I&CB who came to Italy and they were very friendly. After that every country
showed their projects about inventions. Later we had delicious dinner. Next we discussed
about our projects and we summarised them. Then we went sightseeing Capua. We saw churches
which were very beautiful.
23rd May
We had to get up at 5.30. Then we went by bus to Rome. We visited the Historical Museum of
Communication in Rome. There we saw some inventions like: post or telephones. Then we had
dinner with our teachers. Later we went sightseeing Rome. We saw Spanish Steps, Di Trevi
Fountain and other beautiful places.
24th May
In the morning we went to school and students presented their posters and cartoons about
Steve Jobs and his creativity. Than we ate lunch and went to Santa Maria Capua Vetere and we
saw amazing amphitheatre there but I think the most beautiful place was the palace in Caserta.
25th May
On Thursday we went to Naples. We visited Citta della Scienza. We saw how fast our heart
beats or our temperature on thermal imaging camera. Then we went to Futuro Remoto festival
where we saw modern methods of producing energy or we could try VR goggles.
26th may
First we met with the mayor of Capua. Then we visited Campano museum. In the evening there
was a Farewell party. There was a lot of tasty food. We were dancing there a lot too. Then we
got certificates which meant that we took part in I&CB project. After that we said good bye to
everyone
27th may
This day we came back to our real homes and families. I was very sad that I had to leave Italy
and all those great people.

Erasmus +
In Erasmus project we visit Italy. First I went to my host family. At first I was shy and I feel
like I do not belong there. But I wasnt alone there was a boy from Lituania his name is Justi-
nus who helped me in difficult times. The family is wery nice the girl who host me and Justinus
her name is Carola. Her mum and dad are wery friendly. The moust thing I like when we go out
at the night and eat pizza. Every day we went to different cities and we even went to see the
sea and made a lot of pictures. I most remember is Rome. The last day we have a party at the
party we dance, sing and have fun. When the party was over we heve to go to the hotel and say
goodbye it was a lot of crying, but I was stil happy becous I will see my family again. This week
was the most beautiful days and I hope that I will met Carola and her family. I hope that I will
go to Erasmus project again.

This year I was in Italy with my school and it was very interesting, I realy liked it.
I recomend every student to go to a trip like this, becaouse you can really experience the lifes
of people living in the country you're traveling to.
I became a huge fan of italian food and I also liked italian music. I like song ''That's amore.''
So, if you want to go to some interesting places join project Erasmus in your school.

Hello! My name is Ceyhun. I was selected for Italia mobility. I've never been abroad before be-
cause of this, that was very good experience for me.
The first day we had a very long journey. We went directly to the host families. I met his
family. He was very respectful and he had a good family. I was very comfortable. I ate as much
food as I did not eat in Turkey. Thanks Francesco.
We made presentations about Steve Jobs. I learned a lot of things about Steve Jobs and now I
have an Apple computer.
We visited the churches and museums all week. The museums were very interesting. Especially
thebiology museum was really awesome. I can say it is an unforgettable experience for me.
Because biology is my favorite science.I almost still remember everything that was told
there.This Picture about X and Y chromosomes.
The places we visited in Italy were Capua, Naples, Rome and Caserta. The house I stayed in was
at Capua. When I did the Capua tour, I got a beter understanding of where I stayed.One night,
after we went the houses, I went to eat ice cream with the people in Erasmus again. It wa sfun.
I bought gifts from italy to my family and friends.
The best moment is probably every moment.I learned new informations, visited the museums,
visited churches, but most importantly, I made new friends.I will neverforget this experience.

UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS IN CAPUA

Hello there,
My name is Anastasiia and am a member of theTurkish team.
My first trip to taly was really amazing and interesting. We visited 4 different places namely
Rome, Naples, Capua and Caserta. All of them have their special atmosphere and unforgettable
sightseeings. I wonder if I can find any other place in the world like Rome with so many
beautiful sculptures around it that remind us about the Medieval period.
On one hand, the main aim of our trip was to get aquainted with other students from six
different countries ( Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Slovenia, Italy and Romania) and Exchange ideas
concerning ways of communication. We presented videos to each other, we discussed things
together, we estimated each others presentations. I am very happy for having such a
challenging chance to speak out in front of my pers and teachers and get some presentation
skills. ndeed, It was worth it.
All Project participators appeared to be very friendly, sociable, funny and interesting. I loved
getting along with them .We did a good job and learnt new things.
On the other hand, in our free time, we traveled together, we tasted Italian food that was
pretty good, (especially pasta, pizza, ice cream and coffee),we chatted and had a lot of fun.
Id like to say a couple of words about my host family. I loved them very much. My host family
was very kind, warm-hearted and very very pleasant to me. They treated me very nice. I
appreciated it verymuch! Thank You for everything!
The sites my friends and I saw on the trip to Rome/ Italy were amazing. We saw the Pantheon,
Trevi Fountain in which I threw a coin. I made a lot of snaps there that wouldr emind me of this
incredible country.
Last May we travelled to Italy, I remember that I was very nervous, I knew that week was go-
ing to be amazing, we were going to meet a lot of people, and visit a lot of Italian monuments
and cities.
At eight p.m. we arrived at the hotel where the teachers slept, and where our host families re-
ceived us. Next day, Monday, we met the rest of the students who participated in the project,
we presented our work about the storage and we visited Capua.
On Tuesday we got up at half past five, because we were going to visit Rome. When we arrived
in Rome, we visited the Museum of the History of Communications, then the Pantheon of Rome,
the Trevis Fountain, the Navona square; but we couldnt visit the Coliseum because we had to
go back to Capua.
On Wednesday, we presented our work about Steve Jobs, and in the evening we visited Caser-
ta, the Amphitheatre of Caserta, and the Royal Palace of Caserta, then we went to a supermar-
ket to buy what we needed.
On the fifth day, we visited Naples, where we could see the Vesuvius, we visited the Science
Museum and the Remote Future, in the center of Naples.
The last day, we met the Mayor of Capua and we visited the Campano Museum, in Capua. At five
oclock we went to the farewell party, we had a great time, and at eleven oclock, we went
home .
On Saturday we got up at five oclock, and we went to the airport to come back to Spain.

My name is Jairo and this is my story about the Erasmus projects trip.
At first, I was really frightened, I had never taken a plane before, and I didnt know what kind
of people I could find in Italy. When I made my first step into Napoli, I started to feel every-
thing: tension, hunger for adventures, the rythm of my heartbeat everything. When I arrived
at my new home for one week I was really, really nervous!. There was a poor communication be-
tween the Salerno family and me, but their kindness resolved that problem (and a couple of
gestures, of course). I was really excited because I wanted to visit Rome so badly. My dreams
were fulfilled, Rome is beautiful, and people in Italy they are really cool and kind.
It was a great experience, and I really want to repeat it, you

really improve with it.

The visit in Italy
Between May 21-27, the schools involved in the Erasmus+ project Inventions and Cultural Be-
haviour held a project meeting at the partner school ITET FEDERICO II of Capua, in Italy.
The Romanian team from the Secondary School Ioan Ban Dasclu from Poiana Sibiului that took
part in the meeting was represented by four teachers and three students.
The project meeting focused on themes from the realm of communications technology, wherein
the Romanian team was delegated the task to prove how artificial satellites have helped in-
crease the level of communication as well as the way in which they have influenced the life and
culture of humankind.
After having been questioned about their impressions and opinions regarding the visit, the stu-
dents have pointed to the following:
- the visits programmed and carried out by the Italian team had been very well adapted to the
requirements and theme of the project.
- all presentations had been highly scientific and focused on the said impact on human life and
culture.
- they have increased their command of the English language, as all the communication was car-
ried out in this language.
- they were very impressed by the culture, traditions and the history of Italy, which bears a
strong resemblance with the Romanian.
- they viewed the warm welcome and wonderful accommodation offered by the hosting Italian
families as excellent.

THE VISIT IN ITALY
From 21 to 27 May 2017, some of my colleagues from my school, Ioan Ban Dascalul from
Poiana Sibiului, Sibiu county, Romania, and I took part in the deployment of the Erasmus
Project Inventions and cultural Behaviour in Capua, Italy. Here, at ITET Federico II from
Capua, we had the activities, I mean here we presented our projects and also listened with
interest to the projects of the students from other countries.
We all are very happy that we chose to take part to this project and come to Italy,
because, this way, we had the opportunity to review those who were in Romania and to get to
know them better. The families that hosted us were very kind and gentle so that we felt like
home. Being there for a week, we could realise a little bit how the people live in Italy and we
had the chance to learn more about their lifestyle, culture, specific food, school schedule,
music etc.
Besides the projects from school, the Italian team prepared some short trips for us to
Rome, Napoli, Caserta where we visited some museums and also enjoyed the beautiful views.
They also took us on a walk to show us the surroundings of Capua. We were impressed by their
many churches which are very slender and beautiful. The last day we went to the party
organized by them, in a big and nice garden. There, we all listened to music and danced and had
a great time toghether, time that we will never forget.

We have really been busy bees. There have been a lot of creative thinking, expressing different
views on inventions that have changed our world. But let us start at the beginning...
TRANSNATIONAL MEETING IN KAUNAS
14th - 17th November 2016, Kaunas, Lithuania
Headteachers and project coordinators accompanied by their colleagues engaged in the project
work all representing partner schools within the project attended the first transnational meeting
organised at Kaunas J. Urbsys Catholic Basic School. After a warm welcome and beautiful perfor-
mances of some folk Lithuanian songs, dances and games partners gave presentations on their coun-
tries and schools. Later they debated on the project activities, its monitoring and evaluati-
on, dissemination activities, as well as updated the dates of the visits, emphasized the financing
questions while implementing project activities. They shared the responsibilies on making a website,
a brochure and an e-magazine. All arrangements were put together into a project RULEBOOK, which
was signed by all partner schools headteachers present at the meeting.
The meeting was also an opportunity to experience Lithuanian culture and enjoy the landmarks of
the capital city. The visit to Perknas house was an educational tour during which all participants
learned how to make candles and dance medieval European dances. The very essence of the meeting
was the guided tour in the in Energy and Technology Museum. Not only did the teachers hear the
history of electricity or power plants development in Lithuania, but they also watched and tried the
ways some laws of physics (sound, wave, etc) work. They could use the evidence they had experien-
ced while working on the inventions in our project.

Each country had to choose their best logo, which would embrace all the qualities and characteris-
tics of I&CB project. Students were very creative and resourceful! Romanian school was the set-
ting of chossing and voting for the best I&CB logo. Here are the nominees

The voting took place in the Romanian school computer room. Each country had 2 voting bodies and
it was not allowed to vote for their own country logo. After the voting, you could feel the nervous
tension in the air.Finally, the votes were counted...

THE BEST PHOTO COMPETITION
During the Romanian mobility, students were prompted to be as creative as possible. One of the
tasks was to take the most distinctive photo of the Romanian way of life. There were a lot of pho-
tos that represented different perspectives of the Romanian culture. They were all very original
and breathtaking...However, one had to be the winning one. Students and teachers voted again and
chose the photo, which was rich in color and presented a scene from the typical Romanian town.
The winning photo was taken by a Slovenian student, Nika Klara Veberi.
Congratulations and hopefully we will see some more breathtaking photos from you.
EVERY PERSPECTIVE OF STEVE JOBS
In Italy, we had a very interesting contest, in which students were challenged to evaluate Steve
Jobs s famous quotations. Each country chose their own and presented it in different manners.
Some used Powerpoint presentation, other movies, prezis, etc They were all very innovative in
their presentations but they all came to the same conclusionSteve Jobs has definitely influ-
enced the world of innovation and he is indeed a person to behold in the years to come.
