Dr. Maiya P.P.

Dr.Maiya is graduated from Bangalore Medical college, and postgraduat at CMC Vellore, was a
faculty at CMC for 5 years and later faculty at St.Johns for 3 years and has been the prof &
Head at M.S.Ramaiah Medial Teaching Hosptial for 22 years. He has 40 publication in indexed
Medical journal and 150 in non index journal and contribution to textbook and Recent advances
35.

He has been a fellow of National academy of Medical Sciences, Indian academey of Paediatric,
Indian academy of Medical specialitis and National Neonatology Forum. He has delivered > 200
guest lectures and orations over last 30 years.

His research includes detection of Rotavirus survillence to the development of vaccine for
rotavirus infection.
