During my time atuniversity Ibegan working as a freelance camera operator.Isoon found myself
predominantly working in the corporate sector;providing crewing services forexhibitions,trade
shows and conferences.In addition to exposing me to the conference and Exhibition industry,it
helped furtherdevelop my core projectmanagement skillssuch as working to deadlines and
delivering to a specification laid out by the client,as wellas adapting to an ever-changing dynamic
working environment.As each projectistargeted towards a differentaudience,Ihave developed a

Aftergraduating from university Icontinued to work as a camera operator,predominantly in the


corporate sector.In September of 2009 Ienrolled in a 3 month voluntary position working in
Mongolia forBusiness Television (BTV).During my time atBTV, Ideveloped a number of very
usefultransferable skills.As a TV presenterforthe nightly 'B-spot'news show, Ihad to write and
deliver news contentin a clearand approachable manner.As editorforthe show, Ihad to coordinate
the work of other staff,proof read and approve English language copy,and work to very tight
schedules.

Following my time atBTV, Idecided to take the opportunity to travelthrough China and across South
EastAsia before seeking new employment.Travelling isone of my greatpassions in life;Itravelled
overland from the U K to Mongolia in order to take up my role atBTV, then overland through China
to Hong Kong before continuing onto South EastAsia.Travelling and experiencing differentcultures
isnot only personally very enriching,italso helps me to betterconnectwith people from a wide
variety of backgrounds.
