Task: Complete the table below. To do so, you might need to ask questions to your MST, the
administrative staff and/or the support staff at your school.
E-portfolio: Create a page entitled Task 1. On that page, underneath the title My school
profile, insert the completed table below. Dont forget to add a picture (or many pictures) of
your school.
Number of children identified as having SEN in this class (give some details about SEN):
In grade one class there is one special need child, she had and her name is Sara Saeed, Ms.
Gaidaa set with her sometimes, she gives her something very easy to her like play with
Play-Doh. On the other time, when Ms. Gaidaa did not come, my MST try very hard to
involve her to the lesson activity, guiding and singing. I notice that she understands very
will but she need some spurt from others.
Other teachers involved with this class: There are no other teachers involve the classroom
with my MST, each teacher had her own classroom.
Task 1c: Map of my indoor learning environment
Task: Create a map of the indoor learning environment you will be working in (ie. a map of your
classroom for TP1b). You can create one by hand (and scan it) or by using a software program such as
http://classroom.4teachers.org/.
E-portfolio: Create a page entitled Task 1. In that page, underneath the title Map of my indoor
learning environment, insert the map of your classroom. Also, include a photo of your classroom.
Note: if you are working in two different classrooms, you can choose to map only one (the one you
prefer!) or both!
