The ABC project plan was used as the basis for discussion. The first topic was the status of the data
extract utility from Armstrong Laing. John South said that requirements definition for the utility is 90%
complete. John is working on getting the ABC server ready and testing the extract utility. He has had
some technical difficulties in testing. Tim Gatts of Armstrong Laing told Jim that the problems might be
caused by the Oracle client that they are running on the server.

Next, the status of the output reports was discussed. Bill said that JMCS has an issue with the possible
complexity of the selection criteria, which was raised in the November 30 status report. Jean asked what
the issue is. Bill said that we dont have written requirements for the selection criteria and that we need to
finish them this week. Bill Green will be at the JMCS offices this week and will work on the selection
criteria for the first 5 reports while he is there.

John South asked if JMCS has any dependencies on the Metify extract utility. After discussion, it was
decided that JMCS needs details of the table and column structure and naming conventions by the end of
the week. Currently John and Doug are not certain what they are.

There is an issue of the ability to get the reports into production by December 28. Jim said that we will
not be in production on December 28. Well be running the reports off of the development server.

Jean asked when the team will be able to begin CAT testing. Bill said that people can start looking at the
results of the aggregation routines during the week of December 10. JMCS begins coding the reports on
December 17, and that the team should be able to begin looking at the reports later that week.

Anyone who wants to have access to the ABC reports in Business Objects must be assigned a User ID and
password. JMCS will send Jean a list of what information is needed, such as user name, desired logon ID,
etc. Then the ABC team will begin gathering names of users. Jim suggested that users should specify their
LAN logon ID so they will have an ID that they are familiar with.
John South asked JMCS to provide him with information about the location of the development Oracle
database, such as IDs, IP address, etc. JMCS agreed to provide that information right away.

Jean asked how much data will be loaded by December 28. It was agreed that APs 11-13 of FY2001 and
APs 1-2 and maybe AP3 of FY2002 will be loaded.

JMCS needs to estimate initial data volume and data growth rates in order to set up the production
database. Eric Rodgers can provide the information needed to do the estimates. Initially, data from 179
sites is being loaded. The number of finance numbers will not exceed 400 during the next year. It will be
required to keep a maximum of 14 or 15 APs on line, but no more than that.

Bill Green asked how the cross reference tables that are not in Metify will be maintained. Jim said that
maintenance routines are not in the JMCS statement of work and that such routines will be addressed
later.

Jean asked if the data will be aggregated in the reports or in the tables. Bill said that it will be done in the
tables, for performance purposes. John South asked how that could be true for the ad hoc reports? You
cant anticipate what people will want. Bill said that we will deal with that when we start developing the
ad hoc reports.
