FromMar.1990,ALFhasbeenoperated18yearsbyResearchInstituteofHighway(RIOH),Ministryof
Transportation(MOT).Inrecent5years,ALFhasbeenusedtodosomeresearchworksonthe
performancestudyofgradedcrushedrock(GCR)baseasphaltconcretepavementanddesignparameters
studyofasphaltpavement.
ThelasttesthavebeenconductedinMar.2005toAug.2007atTheProvingGroundForHighwayand
TrafficlocatedinTongzhou,SoutheastBeijing(394415N,1163914E,Googleearth).Threestructures
havebeenloaded1,000,000cyclesformodifiedthedesignparametersofasphaltpavement.
From2010tonow,Anewtesthavebeenconductedonthepavementofsteelboxgirderbridgein
Hangzhoucity,Zhejiangprovince,SoutheastChina(302731N,1204839E,Googleearth).Thetestwill
continuetotheendof2012,Fivepavementstructureswithresinasphaltconcreteofsteelboxgirder
bridgewillloadedforitsperformance.
