Rekayasa infrastruktur memiliki sedikit


perbedaan dari upaya bidang IT lainnya dalam
kaitan pemenuhan kebutuhan evolusi yg terus
bertambah.
Evolusi Infrastruktur dipengaruhi oleh adanya
transformasi bisnis dan kebutuhan teknologi.
Sebuah infrastruktur harus dapat diukur untuk
menilai kapasitas, ketersedian, pengawasan,
efisiensi energi, kondisi daya dan panas serta
performansi.
