PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
BERGER Touchwood NC Sanding Sealer is a single component sanding sealer based on selected grade of nitrocellulose
resin and chemical plasticiser.
This product has been designed to guard wooden surface from dimensional changes, which may be caused due to moisture
absorption.
In addition to this, it serves as a barrier coat between filler coat (or bare wood) and topcoat and thus providing optimal finish
to the topcoat.

RECOMMENDED AREAS OF APPLICATION

Natural wood, wood substitutes like ply wood particle board, fibre broads, etc.
This product can be a Sealer for Int / Ext surfaces when coupled with the correct top coat.

Supply Viscosity : 140 KU at 30C @ Stormer Viscometer.

Pack Size : 3.6 LTR, 1 USG, 5 USG

Theoretical Coverage Capacity : 8.6 - 9.3 Sq M / Lt @ 30 DFT
Practical coverage : Practical coverage may depend on surface profile, method of application and weather conditions.

Drying time at 30C :
10 min 30 min 1-2 hrs 3-4 hrs

APPLICATION DATA

Method of Application : Conventional spray at viscosity of 20-22 sec. at 30C And spray pressure of 45-50psi
Thinner : Touchwood Universal Thinner
Thinning ratio (by vol.) : 1:2
Overcoating interval : 1 to 1.5 hr @ 25 30C

SURFACE PREPARATION
Proper surface preparation is important to get a good finish.
Sand the wooden surface and clean making it free of any dirt or grease.
Use wood Filler to fill the grains of the wood.
Sand and remove excess wood filler.
Note: Sanding should be done along the grains only.
APPLICATIONS DETAILS
Sand the wooden surface (New or Previously Painted) using 180 emery paper.

Use P 400 for old & previously painted surface. Apply N.C. sanding sealer as per the specified ratio.

Allow it to dry.

After drying again sand it with P 400 paper & clean it properly before the application of topcoat.

Note: Avoid spraying in high humidity.

Not to be used on enamel paint.

Safety information and precautions:

Do not apply at temperature below 10C.
Do not over thin.
Work in well-ventilated place. Personal Protective Equipments such as overalls, hand gloves and eye goggles
are recommended.
Keep out of reach of children, store in a cool dry place.
Dispose off in a landfill. Do not dispose in any drain or water channel.
