Eight Benefits of Taqwa

Allah obliged the believing people to observe fasting in order they reach taqwa (al Baqarah[2]:183). The
Muttaqun—people having characteristics of taqwa—are the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah
much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform
all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained). As described in al Baqarah[2]:177, they own good
character not only in relation to their God, but also to others, and to themselves.
It is no wonder Allah the All-Wise promises great benefits for them. Among them are as follows.
1. They will find the way out from every difficulty

2. They will get provision from sources they never could imagine
The Quran says, “And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get
out (from every difficulty) And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine.” (Ath
Thalaq[65]:2-3)

3. Their matter will become easy

The Quran says, “Whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for
him. . .” (Ath Thalaq[65]:4)

4. Allah will remit their evil deeds

5. Allah will magnify their reward

The Quran says, “Whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will expiate from him his sins, and
will enlarge his reward” (Ath Thalaq[65]:5)

6. Allah will be always with them

The Quran says, “...And fear Allah, and know that Allah is with Al-Muttaqûn” (al Baqarah[2]:194), “ But
know that Allah is with those who are Al-Muttaqun “ (at Taubah[9]:36)

7. Allah will love them

The Quran says, “Yes, whoever fulfils his pledge and fears Allah much; verily, then Allah loves those who
are Al-Muttaqûn” (Ali Imran[3]:76)

8. They will enter Paradise

The Quran says, “Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity) which they will enter, under which rivers flow,
they will have therein all that they wish. Thus Allah rewards the Muttaqûn” (an Nahl[16]:31). “Verily, the
Muttaqûn will be in Gardens (Paradise), and Delight” (Ath Thur[52]:17)
