CALIBRATION PROCEDURE

(I) Calibration of balance by internal weight.

1. Ensure that the weighting pan is clean and close the door of the weighing
chamber. There is no need to tare the balance before calibration.

2. Press and hold Cal key till the balance display shows Cal int. it is auto
starting of calibration by internal weight 200g

Following display appears during the calibration.

Cal Balance determines zero point.
Cal
200.0000 Internal calibration weight [200g] is loaded.
Cal
0.0000 Balance reaches at zero point

Cal Balance processes the calibration result.

Cal done Balance reports successful completion of calibration.

3. Finally balance automatically return to normal weight

(II) Calibration with external weight : After the Auto calibration is done successfully
put 150 gm, 50 gm, 5 gm, 500 mg, 100mg, and 20 mg and note the measurement in
calibration log.

(III) Balance measurement, uncertainty and reproducibility check: Weigh 50 mg

and 20 g weights ten times and calculate the mean and standard deviation. Put the value
obtained in the format and calculate. It should be not more than 0.001. (Freq.: 3 months)
