Introduction -Warmer Describe the setting, the grades you taught and explain the purpose
of this placement:

I was in AlHanan kindergarten. I taught KG2-4. The purpose


of this placement, to learn how to explain the lessons to
students and how to communicate the information to them.
Also, how to use the activities that according to the students
level and what the strategies we must use it to can control the
student's behavior. For example, (reward system).
Professionalism How did you demonstrate professional behavior as a trainee teacher
in the school? Explain how you maintained your professional status
not only in your own classroom but also across the school.

I assisted my MST in the classroom, reading the story with


students. Also, helped the teacher when the activity time. For
example, I took two groups, and my MST took two other
groups.

Explain how conducting and receiving one formal peer


observations helped you to develop professionally?

When my Fatima came to observe me, she wrote some negative


points that I did it when I explained the lesson, such as (you
should give for the students flash cards to read and pass it).

Explain how you collaborated with other staff in activities that


involve the community during this placement.

I participated in the activities and events that the school works


for students. For example, I went to Electricity and Water
Authority, so they train for the national day.

Every new teacher will be faced difficulties with the prospect of


preparing lesson plans for her classroom. For example, I
planned a lesson, and I wrote the activities that depend on the
students level. When I explained the lesson I look at on my
watch I got an extra 15 minutes left until the class is over.

the students.

Through I explained the lesson for students; I noticed the


children learned how to write the letters and how to pronounce
the sounds. Also, the applied to write the number properly.

When I taught the students about the number 5, I created for
them street form, and they put a car starting from the red sign

the students attention and to understand the lesson in their
learning way.

What strategies did you apply to maintain student engagement and


how effective were they in ensuring that tasks were completed
effectively?

I used a lot of several activities in the classroom to make an


excellent classroom. For example, I used multiple methods for
my explanation for the lesson to get the attention of the
students and make the classroom fun. For example, I used a
reward system, and I saw them the stars to sit nicely in the
class. Also, almost I used the activities that depend on the gross
and fine motor skills and depended on the movement. So, this
effective teaching strategy encourages the students to learn and
study.

responsibility in your classes.

I used of activities that stimulate the students, for example, use


a lot of activities that depend on the thinks and movement to
develop their fine and gross motor skills.

I sat with the students in groups to monitor them and evaluate


them. Through, the group activities I focused on the students
who low level. I had one student is confusing between number 2
and 5. I attempted to sit with her every day just 5 minutes to

I used a checklist to evaluate the students. At every Thursday I


awarded the students who have got the full marks and give him
the gift to encourage him to study.
Reflection on Practice Which teaching strategies did you find were particularly effective
and explained why with reference to educational theory and/or
experience?

For example a reward system. The reward system is the best


strategy must the teacher uses in the classroom to can control
the student's behavior. Also, encourage the student to get
attention with me at the classroom.

Identify and critically evaluate the influence of a range of


stakeholders at your school e.g. Ministry of Education, Principal,
parents, etc.

About the principle, when she saw me she praised me. And she
said that teachers are satisfied with you and surprised by your
explanation and your deal with students.

About the parents, when they saw me they said my child love
you a lot they said are you very king with them, and they
enjoyed your lesson.

Explain how closely you were able to apply key principles from
your own teaching philosophy as a student teacher in this school?

I tried my best to achieve my goal by using some strategies, by


communication with a teacher in English and by teaching one
lesson in English without any words in Arabic.

What would you say have been your particular strengths during this
TP? Which areas for development have you identified for next
semester - justify this?

- Control student behaviour.

- I used numerous activities that depend on the student


levels.
