Proposal for Bring Orphanages Going to Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam

1.0 Purpose

This proposal is presented to the lecturer of Co-Curriculum in Education code EED10803

September 2017, Miss Angela, for consideration and to obtain program and budget approval
to organize the major project which is Bring Orphanages Going to Taman Botani Negara
Shah Alam in Bukit Cerakah.

2.0 Objectives

To create awareness
To create excitement
To induce the orphanages to appreciate the beauty and benefit of the flora and fauna
To gain knowledge of farming, aquaculture and livestock

3.0 Justification

Why do we choose Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam (TBNSA) as the place for the
orphanages because TBNSA is developed to provide a national scientific education centre
that students can gained knowledge from it. It is also act as a natural resource conservation
centre for the development of botanical, horticultural, floricultural, agriculture and other related
field in Malaysia. TBNSA also functions as a community awareness centre that aims to create
excitement and induce the community to appreciate the beauty and benefit of our own local
plants variety which is also our National Heritage.
4.0 How to get those funds

In order to get the funds for the trip, we decided to sell food and drink by selling it around
MSU. The foods that we are going to sell is snacks like nachos, sausages and nuggets while
beverages we would like to make juice from fruits such as mango, apple and orange. We are
expecting RM50 each day since we will sell it during our free time only. Furthermore, this trip
are not going to use a lot of money since the charged of fees imposed for the orphanages is
free and we just need to spend the money on foods and transportation.

5.0 Learning Outcomes

By the end of this visit, the orphanages will know how to appreciate things surround
them especially flora and fauna.
By the end of this visit, participants should be active in involving themselves in
activities that good for their health and mental.
By the end of this visit, participants know how to get into community and being
socialized.

7.0 Guest Of Honour

The guest of honor that will be invited is SABRI BIN MOHAMAD. Our guest of honor work
as a pharmacist and love to spend more of his time with children. Currently our guest of
honor is working at BAHAU PHARMACY SDN. BHD.
8.0 Speaker/ Trainer

Our speaker for this event will be all of us as we all do not have any problem of projecting
our voices well. The trainer of the caretaker will be the comitte from the RUmah Anak
Yatim too.

9.0 Target Group Participants

Total participants : 40 person

10.0 Tentative Programme

10.00 am - gather at the Rumah Anak Yatim

- conduct a moring workout

11.00 am - breakfast
- make sandwiches together for picnic

1.00 pm - get ready to go to Taman Botani

- depart

1.30 pm - find a place for picnic

- prepare the picnic area
- play games

2.30 pm - start picnic

- spend time together

4.00 pm - depart to the orphanage house
