Characters undergoing
metamorphosis occurs frequently
in Greek mythology. Choose
one god, goddess, character, or
monster from a Greek myth and
create a vivid comic strip
illustration of that characters
metamorphosis. You may use
the computer to complete this
project or to locate appropriate
images to use for illustrations.

Choose one of the myths read in
our unit. Create a rap song or
song of another musical genre
that retells the myth and also
explicitly states the theme or
lesson taught from the myth.

Recreate one of the Greek
myths into a drama production.
You must record your
performance and bring your
recorded production to be
played in front of the class.

Naturalist
Greek myths provide
explanations of how something in
nature (such as fire and rain)
came to be. Choose a myth and
identify the natural element
explained in that myth. Create
an information board that
compares/contrasts how
mythology explains its
occurrence to how modern-day
scientists explain it. Document
any natural disasters associated
with that natural element with an
illustrated historical timeline or
collage.

Choose one of the monsters
from a myth, create a sculpture
of the monster that stays true to
the monsters description given
to us in Greek mythology.
