Note: Our scales for the on-line CBT exams are arrived at using feedback from both the

computerized scores
and previously obtained scales from paper exams. This is done to simulate the AAMC approach to formulating
curves. Some of the passages in each of our CBT exams were given before in a paper format. We based part of
our curve on the results from these paper versions. The initial curve is then modified based on scores from the
CBT administration. This document serves as a temporary list of scales, as they will evolve (albeit only
slightly) over time. These scales do not replace or supercede any scales provided on-line with the exam.
