1. Let the pupils find a pair.
2. With a partner, study the pattern of the concepts below and complete the chart.

Direction: Complete the paragraph by writing the appropriate proper noun or common
noun on the blanks. Use the capital letters when needed.

Direction: With a partner, find as many proper nouns and common nouns as you can in
the story A Question of Courage.
Direction: With a partner, compose a diamante poem. Use common and proper nound.
First line- the topic (proper or common nouns)
Second line- two adjectives describing the topic.
Third line- three verbs ending in ing which are related to the topic.
Fourth line- two nouns related to the topic + two nouns which are complete
opposites of the topic.
Fifth line- three verbs ending in ing related to the last two nouns.
Sixth line- two adjectives describing the opposite of the topic.
Seventh line- a noun, the opposite of the topic in the first line.
Direction: The teacher will divide the class into 3 groups. They will list down as many
proper nouns and common nouns as they can in two minutes.
