Background
The patient Muhammad Anwar is an old patient of Dr. Shahbaz Qureshi since Year 2012.
Recently in the month of April he visited MIH with a complaint of breathing problem and
abnormal heart rate during certain conditions. Dr. Shahbaz Qureshi conducted an Echography
test, and prescribed him some medications.

Problem
The patients condition got worst instead of getting better after receiving the treatment from
Dr. Shahbaz Qureshi. His family decided to perform another ECHO test from NESCOM to verify
if they are on the right course but there they find out the outcome of both the reports were
quite opposite. In order to get rid of this confusion of which report is right and which one is
wrong, they took an appointment from Dr. Habib from MIH and showed his previous reports.
Dr. Habib insisted to perform a third ECHO test to verify which report was correct. The ECHO
test report performed by DR. Habib was almost similar to the one produced at NESCOM, and
as per the statement of the patient it was stated that Dr. Habib nullified any heart disease
and prescribed a new treatment.
Today the patient along with his family members again came to show his reports to Dr.
Shahbaz Qureshi and inquire the reason why he prescribed him such intense medications if
there was not any heart disease. As per the statement of the patient, he stated that they took
an appointment of 01:00 PM and also paid the consultant fee. Dr. Shahbaz was also aware of
their presence in the waiting area but he was busy in ETT room, performing a test. After a
long wait of two hours the patients family came to know that Dr. Shahbaz has left without
seeing the patient. They rushed towards the outer gate and requested PCD staff to bring Dr.
Sahab back to OPD. Somehow Dr. Shahbaz was brought back to OPD and reports of the
patients were shown. Dr. Shahbaz again insisted that his findings were true and asked them
to stop the treatment started by Dr. Habib.
