This is a listening exercise for beginners using the Beatles song,
which is stillvery popular in TEFL countries. In the first exercise ss
have to order the sentences. In the second exercise they must fill
in the gaps using some words and verbs from the box. In the third
exercise they have to complete the gaps with the words they hear.

This is a very nice listening comprehension activity. There is a
worksheet with various activities to complete while listening to the
song "Can't stop the feeling" by Justin Timberlake. I show the
music video in class and ask them what they think the song is
about. Then, I give them the worksheet and play the song. You
can then go through any unfamiliar vocabulary.

That's not my kind of music but a student of mine showed it to me
and I decided to create an worksheet of this song. It's quite simple
but I think enjoyable. 2 kinds of exercises. First you pick the right
word out of 2 options, and in the second one, you complete the
lines with the right word from the box.

I have decided to prepare this song acitivity to get basic students
more engaged. It is a great song, and they will fully understand
some verbs and expressions, for they are not so complex. As
mentioned before, it is supposed to be used with beginners and

The worksheet, as its title says, is about the days of the week. I
thought of a good and amusing way of learning them (to
pronounce them and be able to write them), and the song by The
Cure came to my mind. I guess it's a beautiful song and an
entertaining way of learning the days of the week for an adult,
specially.

actually. It is mostly in simple present and very easy to

listening. I use it as tense and pronouns revision. It can be useful
to relax students after a difficult grammar work. Before the work

With this worksheet students can practice listening, this worksheet
is for beginners since they have to identify sounds and fill the gaps
with very easy things such as you, me, your, Im, it and other
simple nouns like people, love, family, etc. Althoght the tempo of
the song is a bit fast and it would be good to pause it to give
students time to fill in the gaps or repeat it twice.
