Mr.

Pioneer Epoxy Philippines

03 March 2017

Nature has always been the refuge of man since our dawn of existence. It has played the most vital role
in our evolution, development, and survival. We have coexisted with nature for over a millennia and no
organism has changed it the way we did. For now, Earth is our only home and there is a need for us to
realize that the way we change nature will have an impact to the survival of the future generations.

As an island archipelago, surrounded by vast seas and oceans, the Philippines is blessed by diverse
marine life and resource. Our ancestors have relied to this since we inhabited the islands. But nature
has its limits. Global warming and extensive and destructive human activities have affected our marine
resource greatly. As inheritors of these islands, we are responsible for preserving it for our childrens
children to paddle in our great seas and waters.

The DALUYONG: CORAL TRANSPLANTATION DRIVE is a volunteer program launched and initiated by the
volunteer UP students together with the Philippine Association on Underwater Activities (PAUA) to take
place on April 1, 2017 aimed at rehabilitating and restoring coral formations and habitat together with
the local community aiming further to instill social and environmental responsibility to the locals and
future advocates. This year, the volunteers have chosen to hold its first coral transplantation drive in the
local and immediate community along Mabini, Batangas City.

Though an article from the Philippine Daily Inquirer, it has come to our knowledge that the Epoxy
product line from Pioneer has been an effective adhesive and binding element for coral transplantation.
However, as students and volunteers, we cannot afford to purchase the product in whole price. In this
regard, we would ask you and your company to join us as event sponsors. This would mean a lot to the
rehabilitation of our corals and increased awareness of the coast communities. If successful, we would
conduct this annually to different coastal areas in the country.

This activity is one of the best opportunities to give back to the community and to the environment. For
any questions or suggestions regarding the program, please contact Mr. Albert Yumol at +63 912 081
2287. We would be more than happy to discuss the details of the project with you.

See you while we save the reefs,

Albert Yumol
