1. CONTENTS
In accordance with decisions taken by the Commission for Marine Meteorology and by the Executive Council of the
World Meteorological Organization, this part contains the facsimile broadcast schedules of meteorological charts of
interest to shipping and fisheries.
2. LAYOUT
2.1 Arrangement
The facsimile broadcast schedules are arranged in sections corresponding to the World Meteorological Organization
Regions:
Region I - Africa
Region II - Asia
Region III - South America
Region IV - North and Central America
Region V - South-West Pacific
Region VI - Europe
Antarctic - South of 60S
Within each regional section, the schedules are arranged in English alphabetical order of countries.
3.1 Country
The name of the country transmitting the broadcast schedule.
3.2 Centre
The name of the transmitting centre.
Note: In the column "Hours of operation" when appropriate this column indicates the hours of operation of the various
frequencies. Any seasonal variations are also shown.
This table indicates which letter or digit corresponds to the area covered for each chart trasmitted.
(a) Description of information transmitted by analogue facsimile, given by data type designator and
geographical designator. The designators are given in WMO Publication No. 386 - Manual on
the Global Telecommunication System, Volume I, Part II, Attachment II-5, Table B1 and Table
C1 respectively. For information also transmitted by digital facsimile, this column may contain
the data designator T1T2A1A2ii of the abbreviated heading, where T1=P or Q. Other
designators T2, A1A2 and ii are given in Tables B2, C3, C4, C5 and D2 of the above-
mentioned Publication.
(b) International four letter location indicator of the centre originating the chart.(see Annex I)
(a) The times at which the observations contained in the chart were made;
(b) The time to which the data on the chart refer;
(c) The time of the chart on which the analysis or prognosis is based.
All times are Co-ordinated Universal Time (UTC).

Conformment aux dcisions prises par la Commission de mtorologie maritime et par le Conseil excutif de
l'Organisation mtorologique mondiale, cette partie contient les programmes de diffusion par fac-simil des cartes
mtorologiques intressant la navigation maritime et la pche.
2. DISPOSITION
2.1 Prsentation
Les programmes de diffusion par fac-simil sont prsents dans des sections qui correspondent aux Rgions de
l'Organisation Mtorologique Mondiale :

Rgion III - Amrique du Sud
Rgion IV - Amrique du Nord et Amrique centrale
Rgion V - Pacifique Sud-Ouest
Rgion VI - Europe
Antarctique - au Sud du parallle de 60S
Dans chaque section rgionale, les programmes sont prsents dans l'ordre alphabtique des noms anglais des pays.
3.1 Pays
Le nom du pays qui transmet un programme de diffusion.
3.2 Centre
Le nom du centre metteur.
NOTE: La colonne B indique, lorsquil y a lieu, les heures dutilisation des diverses frquences. Toutes variations
saisonnires sont galement signales.

1. CONTENIDO
De conformidad con las decisiones tomadas por la Comisin de Meteorologa Marina y por el Consejo Ejecutivo de la
Organizacin Meteorolgica Mundial, esta parte contiene los programas de difusin de mapas meteorolgicos por
facsmil, de inters para la navegacin martima y la pesca.
2. PRESENTACIN
2.1 Disposicin
Los programas de difusin por facsmil se presentan por secciones que corresponden a las Regiones de la Organizacin
Meteorolgica Mundial (OMM):
Regin I - Africa
Regin II - Asia
Regin III - Amrica del Sur
Regin IV - Amrica del Norte y Central
Regin V - Suroeste del Pacfico
Regin VI - Europa
Antrtico - Al sur de la latitud 60S
Dentro de cada seccin regional, los programas se presentan en el orden alfabtico ingls de los pases.
3.1 Pas
El nombre del pas del centro transmisor.
3.2 El Centro
El nombre del centro transmisor.
NOTA: La columna B indica, cuando procede, las horas de funcionamiento en las diversas frecuencias. Tambin se
indican en la misma la eventuales variaciones de la temporada.
En esta columna figura una letra (A, B, C, D, ... etc.) que corresponde a la zona abarcada.
(a) Descripcin de informacin transmitida por facsmil analgico, preparado con indicativos de datos e
indicativos geogrficos. Estos indicativos figuran en la Publicacin N. 386 - Manual del Sistema
Mundial de Telecomunicacin - Volumen I, Parte II, Adjunto II-5, Tabla B1 y Tabla C1
respectivamente. Por informacin transmitida por facsmil en forma digital, esta columna especifica
los indicativos de datos T1T2A1A2ii de los encabezamientos abreviados, cuando T1=P o Q. Otras
indicativos T2, A1A2 y ii se explican en la Publicacin N 386 - Manual del Sistema Mundial de
Telecomunicacin, Volumen I, Parte II, Tablas B2, C3, C4, C5 y D2.
(b) Indicativo internacional de emplazamientos de cuatro letras del centro que prepara el mapa (vase

1. Alternating black and white signals with frequency of 300 Hz will be transmitted for 10 seconds prior to the phasing signal.
2. Phasing signals will be transmitted for 30 seconds prior to transmission of each chart.
3. Stop signals will be transmitted for 15 seconds after transmission of each chart.
