My supervisor has been teaching the children the rainbow
colours, and this is an activity they do yearly, but she wanted
me to take over and do with the children.
Rainbow Hair
3 objectives
1. (23.4) Communicate their understanding of something
by representing their ideas through arts different
colours of the rainbow
2. They will be able to select and use tools and materials to
construct things (24.4) to glue the different strips on to
the paper plates
3. The children will be able to express their responses to
visual art by making connections to their own
experiences, (21.5) as they can talk about if they have
ever seen a rainbow, or talking about their favourite
colour, or if they have ever seen someone with hair the
colour of rainbow.

Step-by-step Description
I will call each child one by one to the table to create their
rainbow hair. I will ask what their favourite colour is. Then I
will ask them what are the colours of the rainbow? And In that
order they will need to glue the different strips down on their
plate.
