Problem and Its Background

Introduction

Eusebio Alcantara. They are married.

Background of the study

Nowadays all establishment are becoming modernized, they use modern

technologies to make their transaction fast, easy, and accurate in order to avoid waste
of time and for the sake of safety and security. It also helps human to solve and
understand complex problem and analysis such us the computational need of humans.
Especially to business establishment or corporation processing enormous data and
complex transaction. Payroll is an example of a complex transaction because it is a
critical business operation dealing with numerous accounts and produce plenty and
confidential files. Payroll is encompasses every employee of a company who receives a
regular wages or other compensation due to each.

Applying manual procedure on a Payroll transaction involving the vast beat

answer in that problem would be computer because computers can simulate enormous
data and can process complex transaction in a fast and efficient way. It can generate
numerous accounts and data accurately

A Computerized Payroll System will not only provide accurate calculation and fast
process of Payroll transaction but it will secure data through security implementation
and accordingly arrange files provided by a well designed database that will produce a
paperless environment

Nonoka Seafoods Paluto is owned by Jo-an Alcantara and Eusebio Alcantara.

Statement of the problem

Time consuming process of payroll preparation

The Nonoka Seafoods Paluto still using the manual method of payroll process. A lot of
jobs are assigned to the payroll maker and accounting clerk, with causes
inconvenience to their services. In this method, it will need more time and manpower to
complete the payroll of each employee.

General Objective

This study aimed to help the Nonoka Seafoods Paluto to have anefficient and effective
way of monitoring their employees time keeping and payroll system to give a higher
quality of service.

Specific Objective

Develop a system that will improve the Blanco Family Academys process in the
Timekeeping and Payroll.
Develop a system that will monitor employees data that is efficient to use
Secure the records of employees and to have more manageable files
Calculate payroll transaction easily
Significance of the study

Keeping and Payroll System for BlancoFamily Academy covers many aspects of time k
eeping and payrollprocess. This includes the capture of information based on theemploy
ees work schedule, daily time worked and daily time rendered.

The payroll process encompasses all activities necessary to reportemployees time

worked. The system will convert the current companys time keeping and payroll into
Visual Basic Program.

Limitations

The employees salary will not be sent through Automated tellermachine (ATMs)
or cheques, for the reason that the company insisted that salaries must be on a cash
basis. No other currencies are computed in the system but Philippine Peso only. The
proposed system cannot be accessed online and it focuses only on the employees
Time Keeping and Payroll System of the Nonoka Seafoods Paluto. This proposed
system is only applicable and can only be used by the management of Nonoka
Seafoods Paluto.
