Daringbadi: A hill station at 1000metres above sea level in Odisha.

It is much different from other hill

stations in our country because of its unique geography and culture that includes dense green forests
with fertile farmlands. Very much a countryside with smooth roads and pine forests that adds to the
experience of a traveller. There is also a coffee plantation in this paradise that makes it more unique apart
from the unusual hills that provide rainfall to the fertile green valleys. This picturesque village is all that we
dream in our paintings and more green than our colour.

Green is the colour of our kind ,is what we should tag whenever we are going on a road trip in Odisha. The
place is near Soroda Dam in Ganjam district ,enroute to Daringbadi in Kandhamal district in this monsoon
season that makes Odisha much greener and soothing. The roads are broad and smooth which adds to the
comfort to a road trip.Odisha in monsoon proves to be a delight for all passionate travellers with wheels
and DSLRs.

Some road trips includes snow capped peaks, treacherous roads, valleys or coastal breeze ....But this road
trip from Gopalpur sea beach and ending at Boudh district in Odisha has every adjectives that wee need
of. It starts with serene sea beach then the landscape changes to smooth roads through fertile farmlands
guarded with numerous green mountains in Ganjam district. As we move along the kandhmal district
welcomes us with thick dense forests, high rising eastern ghat Boulder peaks and red soil ; it continues
with awesome roads intersecting the phulbani forests and Ghats. The trip ends in Boudh district which
concludes with valleys of green mountains and large spaces of fields and rural villages.Beware of the
adventure as there are numerous elephant crossings on the way
