Reflection (to be completed after discussion of Peer Review with colleague): e.g. how did you feel about conducting a formal
observation? How did your colleague feel about being observed? How did you feel about discussing your observations with your
colleague after the lesson? How did your colleague react to your assessment? Did she agree with your evaluation? Which of the
suggestions you made will your colleague apply in her next lesson? Do you and your colleague feel that this was a valuable
experience? Why/Why not?
My peer feedback seems different from formal feedback from mentors. I would like to work in
areas for development such as giving student more time to answer. Therefore, we did a discussion
and agreement on students' performance in class and how we should work with them next time. I
think my peer Khadija provides more positive feedback like I have a good oral positive feedback for
learners while we are reading. I liked that the discussion between us was open-ended and I believe
that we can get more benefits from student teachers because they are in the same case that we are
in. The experience was valuable because it helps in giving teaching strategies, classroom environment
sitting, and it gives the observer an idea to do some of the activities in their classes also.
