LA County Fair
MARK YOUR
On September 6th, the MKHS Aztec Band and Color Guard marched at the LA CALENDARS
County Fair, located in Pomona. As they played On Wisconsin and moved
to cadences along the parade route, the aroma of funnel cake and popcorn, Mondays
the sights of colorful billboards advertising Fried Oreos and Crazy
Coaster, and most of all, the cheering crowd made this an unforgettable Rehearsal

experience. The band won second place in their division! After the parade,
students explored the fairgrounds, devouring pound sausages, riding
intense attractions, and visiting fantasy, floral, and farm animal exhibits. As
their bus approached Keppel, the band sang the traditional Bus Song,
concluding the Aztec Band and Color Guards exciting day at the LA County Oct. 14
