SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

A. Summary

The main goal of this research study is to identify how effective Accounting Subjects is for

the BSOA Students. Furthermore, the aim is to determine the factors that negatively affects the

BSOA students in terms of having an Accounting Subject.

To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher have used descriptive approach and

gathered pertinent data from 20 respondents of the third year and fourth year students of BSOA

through its self-administered survey-questionnaires. Base on the data gathered and analysed, it

has been found that the Accounting Subjects not only positively affects the students studies but

also their selves.

Most of the respondents have strongly agreed that the Accounting Subjects has a positive

impact towards their study and their selves and that their instructors on the said subject is

competent enough to teach them which results to having a competitive advantage among the

BSOA Students. The study also shows that the Subject is relevant or essential for their future

profession.

In addition, the study also revealed that as perceived by the respondents, the factors that

negatively affects the students was seen. As mentioned, one of the aims of this research is to

identify whether having an Accounting Subjects has a positive or negative effects for the BSOA

students. The gathered data revealed what particular effect does having an Accounting subject

for the students studies and among their selves.

 B. Conclusion

This research investigated the effectiveness of accounting subjects to BSOA students.

Primary data were collected by randomly distributing survey questionnaires to 15 respondents.

The purpose of this study were to investigate the impacts of accounting subjects to study and to

themselves, the competence of the instructor and the significance of these subjects.

According to the opinions of the respondents and the findings of this research the

accounting subjects for BSOA students are really effective for their future profession. Focus and

determination of students are the utmost importance and should be kept up and increased. The

same study needs to be conducted with students from other universities to see if there are any

similarities with the factor that will effects students subjects to their profession.

Based from the research questions developed for this research, a number of important

findings were drawn.

C. Recommendation

Accounting subjects are essential in the business institutions. With the help of

accounting subjects, students of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration possesses

basic skills and knowledge of this expertise.

In this research paper, we tested the effectiveness of these subjects in terms of its

personal impacts to the students, factors that can affect the performance of every student taking

up Accounting subjects and the readiness of the institution that offers these subjects.

Respondents agreed that these subjects are essential and helpful for their future

professions. All of the factors that can affect the effectiveness of these subjects can be easily

addressed because the professors who are teaching these subjects have mastery of these subjects

and motivates their students to finish certain task and requirements needed to comply.
 The study conducted for the BSOA Students of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State

University can be enhanced and expand through the following future recommendations:

1. Future researchers with the same topic might want to use larger respondents instead of

using 20. This could be done for them to collect more responses that will be needed to

address certain problems concerning the effectiveness of these subjects.

2. Using other methods of research and data-gathering can also be used in order to collect

more data to help improve these subjects.

3. Future researches with the same topic can also add the factor concerning the equipments

and facilities offered by the institution that can help to improve the proficiency and

productivity of the students taking these subjects.
