Call for Article Contribution IPSF PARO Newsletter, Issue 5

The IPSF PARO Newsletter is a comprehensive newsletter of the Pan American Regional Office
of the International Pharmaceutical Students Federation. Its purpose is to provide updates about
the Pan-American region on behalf of the Regional Working Group and participating member
associations, as well as to provide an outlook on the field of pharmacy within the Pan-American
region.

Pharmacy students, recent graduates, academic staff members, and pharmaceutical professionals
are kindly invited to contribute their articles to this publication. Please consider contributing an
article on one of the following topics:

IPSF events
Did you attend any IPSF events this year, such as the 63rd World Congress in Taiwan,
the 11th Pan American Regional Symposium in Mexico, or Training Camps? Tell us
about your most memorable moments, your favorite events, the friends you made,
and the things you learned. Dont forget to include photos!
Member projects and campaigns
Has your association national, regional, or local organized and/or participated in
any pharmacy projects or public health campaigns? Tell us about the organization
process, the individuals involved, and the impact of your project! Photos are highly
encouraged!
Student perspectives/Student Exchange Program (SEP)
Is there anything you would like to share from your perspective as a pharmacy
student or recent graduate? Is there a significant project, conference, seminar, or
course you attended? Did you participate in an internship, shadowing experience, or
exchange program? Tell us about it! Photos are highly encouraged and
recommended!
Current events
Is there a particular event related to the field of pharmacy that took place in your
country, city, or university? This can be regarding policy changes that affect
pharmacy practice, university curricula updates, public health campaigns,
volunteering, humanitarian work, etc.
Other topics
Do you have another idea in mind? Share it with us! We would love to hear your
idea!
Please limit your article to 800 words and send your photos in the highest quality possible
(preferably .png format). The article submission deadline is February 1st, 2018 23:59 (GMT+0).

Article submissions should be written in English or Spanish. Translation services can be made
available if needed. Submissions and inquiries can be sent to Ms. Leah Osae, Regional Media and
