ABSTRAK

Pengembangan jenjang karir profesional yang sudah dikembangkan oleh berbagai sarana
kesehatan masih kurang memperhatikan tuntutan dan kebutuhan profesi, serta belum
dikaitkan dengan kompensasi atau sistem penghargaan. Tujuan penelitian untuk
mengetahui hubungan jenjang karir dengan mutu pelayanan keperawatan di RSUD
K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro Semarang. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan
pendekatan cross sectional, tehnik pengambilan sampel dengan proportionate stratified
random sampling, populasi dari seluruh perawat pelaksana di bagian rawat inap. Hasil
univariat penelitian menunjukkan jenjang karir perawat baik sebesar 50,6%, mutu
pelayanan keperawatan sebesar 61,4% .Hasil penelitian bivariat terdapat hubungan antara
penerapan jenjang karir dengan mutu pelayanan keperawatan (P Value = 0,000). Peneliti
berharap manajemen dapat lebih baik lagi untuk penataan sistem jenjang karir perawat
berdasar kompetensi untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan, menggunakan
model yang telah ditetapkan dengan melakukan modifikasi sesuai kondisi dan kebutuhan
rumah sakit.

ABSTRACT

The development of professional career paths that have been developed by various
healthcare facilities still lack attention to the demands and needs of the profession, and
has not been associated with compensation or reward system. The purpose of research to
determine the relationship of career path with the quality of nursing service in RSUD
K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro Semarang. Using quantitative methods with cross-sectional
approach, sampling technique with proportionate stratified random sampling, population
of all nurses in the inpatient department. The result of univariate research showed that
the nursing career level was 50,6%, the nursing service was 61,4%. The result of
bivariate research was the correlation between career ladder and the quality of nursing
service (P Value = 0,000). Researchers hope that management can be better for the
arrangement of nurses career system system based on competence to improve the quality
of nursing service, using the predetermined model by modifying according to hospital
condition and requirement.
