Pipe Sizing Chart

Pipe Sizing Charts Pipe size can be confusing. A one

inch pipe is neither exactly 1 on
the inside or outside. A 1/4 pipe
is close to 1/2 on the outside. We
provide our customers with these
charts to make it simple. To de-
termine what pipe size you have
on the outside use the chart on the
left. Place the center of the pipe
on the horizontal line and read
0 1/81/43/8 1/2 3/4 1 1 1/4 1 1/2 2 2 1/2 the correct size.

For measuring the correct size of a 0 1/8 3/8 3/4 1 1 1/4 1 1/2 2 2 1/2
female tting, place the center of
the pipe under the edge of the bot-

measure across the
center of the opening.

tom.
