1.0 Proposed Thesis Title:

Sun Tracking Solar Panel Using Arduino

2.0 Area of Investigation

This project has been designed keeping this in view to make harnessing of
solar energy more efficient. The solar panel can continuously rotate to the direction of
the sun without the aid of a human.

3.0 Reason of Choice

The project is based on Arduino controller which controls the various activities
since the solar panel gathers energy from the sun and stores it to the batteries. The
project is implemented on urban areas without the need of adjusting and to gain energy
in the most efficient way.

4.0 Importance of Study

The importance of this study is to extent the knowledge about the usage of solar
energy and to explore how wide the variety of ideas we can create thru solar panel. This
study can help everyone who has plans on using solar energy to conserve electricity.
This study is very useful to learn for students and professionals.

5.0 Target Users/Beneficiaries

Solar energy is unlimited source of energy which if harnessed properly will get
the people devoid of using the conventional sources of energy. The device aims on
people in urban areas. Certain occasions the shortage of electricity, this project can help
people to find other alternatives of power source.

7.0 Scope and Limitation

Solar panels should absorb energy to a maximum extent. This can be done only
if the panels are continuously placed towards Sun direction. So solar panel should
continuously rotate in the direction of Sun.
