ONLINE EXAMINATION

ABSTRACT

Online examination is the process of conducting the exam through online. The user who has to

undergo the exam has to login to the system with proper authentication from administrator. The

administrator has the rights to create account for the users and can configure the subject and the

number of questions for the exam.

Various reports can be generated to view the results in well organized manner. This

project is designed such a way that it can be used in training centers to conduct exams.

The project is designed in modular way. The modules of this project are Master, Exam

and Report. Master module is used for adding student names, subjects, questions and examiners.

Exam module is responsible for conducting the exam. The specified students mark will be

displayed at the end

This project will be developed using Visual Basic 6.0 as front end with MS-Access as

backend.
EXISTING SYSTEM

In this existing system the centre examinations are conducted by a written theme. In that
method, the Examiner as well as the students was insisted to make more efforts. The Examiner has to
prepare questions in papers & make them multiple copies by using carbon papers (or) Xerox machines.
The question papers are saved in the files. Even though the Examiner was so aware in saving his
question papers they may decay in the course of time. The students should answer the questions & to
submit the answer sheets. The answer sheets are collected in a file by the Examiner.

DISADVANTAGES

The answer sheets may be missed.


The Examiner has to correct the papers & the results are announced to the students
later.
This method of conducting Examination takes more time & efforts of both the students &
Examiner.
In addition to these consequences in the course of time, the question & answer sheet may be
decayed.
PROPOSED SYSTEM

Online Examination is a project work of conducting Exams to a group of students in a


specified centre. The Examiner arranged the questions in the system. The examiner may add
more students (or) Examiners for attending and conducting Examination respectively. He may
also modify, delete the students & examiners from the students list & examiners list.

ADVANTAGES

The examiner may also add subjects & questions if necessary. The unnecessary (or)
erroneous questions may be deleted (or) altered from the set of questions by the
Examiner. The marks for the correct answers will be updated simultaneously.
The specified students mark will be displayed at the end. The additional advantages are
that the students cannot copy from the neighbors. By using the previous button, they may
change the answer what they had selected already.
This type of conducting examination will save time and effort of both the students & the
examiners.
OPTICAL SHOP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
ABSTRACT

The main objective of this project, OPTICAL SHOP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is to design,

develop, and manage the details about optical Items, Sales, purchase and service to Customer,

and Reports etc.

It is for Optical shop Management System. This software designed to help the

organization to manage purchase and sales effectively. When it is done manually, there are

opportunities where the numerical calculation may go wrong.

It includes some tasks such as maintaining information about Customer, Purchase such

as new frames and new optics, Supplier Details, Sales, and Report of the Purchase order pending,

Retail order pending, and Bulk order pending. This project work is estimated to fulfill the above

criteria or requirement.

Optical Shop Management System is consists of all the details about the Customer,

personnel, Sales, and Report of the sales.

This project is designed using VB as front-end with MS-Access as back-end Tools. This

is a user friendly by which the users can easily access and view data. By this project works

can be made easier which will be a great service to the sales office.
EXISTING SYSTEM

The Existing system in the Optical Shop Management system is manual system. Each and
Every action including sales monitoring system is done manually using papers. It takes is more
time and some mistakes are occurred during data process. The maintenance is also difficult for
the existing system. The various requirements are performed very slowly in manual system. So
there is a need for computerization of the present system.

Drawback of Existing System:

1. Every Thing is maintained in papers.


2. Time taken for each action is more.
3. Verification of data such as retrieved data and collected data, etc are tedious.
4. Several tasks are to be maintained for long period which involves some complication.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

The proposed system aims at overcoming the drawbacks of the existing system. The
proposed system is coded and designed using the Visual Basic concept. The concept of visual
basic helps in providing the better security and faster access to data stored in the database.

PAPER MILL AUTOMATION
ABSTRACT
The project entitled Paper production System is developed to automate all the office works in a

paper production company. This system helps to the organization is an effective way to grow

business, improve customer service and reduce operating costs while providing an end-to-end

solution.

The Paper Production System deals with all process of paper production in a concern and

it helps to maintain the office details in very effective manner. The main aim of this system is to

reduce all the manual work and maintain the data and calculations in accurate. This system can

be designed with the following main modules such as,

Paper Machine Module


Consumption Module
Reports Module

The paper production module deals with all process of paper production and then related
data generated at various stages of paper production. As well as this module deals with the
following details:

Paper Machine Production, Winder Production, Sheet Cutter Production and Finished

Utility Consumption details
And then the average consumption can be calculated based on the finished production.
The Report module is used to generate the reports dynamically according to the user
requisition The Report is generated with daily and period report. Then the system can be
computerized and time consuming. The report module generates the following reports

The Paper Production System is developed using Visual Basic 6.0 as front end tool and
MS Access as backend.
EXISTING SYSTEM

The existing system uses manual power for entries. The paper production increases day
by day. Computer department has to fulfill the requirements of both customer and organization.
The process like Production, Machine selection is done manually in existing system. Hence, the
workload is heavy and time is consumed much.

DRAWBACKS OF EXISTING SYSTEM

PETROL BUNK AUTOMATION
ABSTRACT

The project Petrol Bunk Management System is developed to automate the entire activities of
the petrol bunk.

The petrol bunk presently maintains all the bunk activities manually. They are
maintaining the details of their suppliers, regular customer details, and various product details
like petrol, diesel and oil. They are receiving their products from different suppliers and it is send
to the stock. When an item is sold, that particular item should get reduced from the stock. All
these process are very difficult for them to handle by manually.

They also maintain employee and their salary details, the bunks payment and daily
expense by manually. Keeping the above problems in mind the Petrol Bunk Management
System project is developed. By using this project it is very easy to maintain various suppliers
and customers detail, their transactions etc. The daily expense entries have been created in a
user-friendly manner, so that they can maintain it very easily.

The Petrol Bunk Management System is divided into three major modules as

The proposed Petrol Bunk Management System is designed keeping the above
problems in mind. By using this project it is very easy to maintain various suppliers and
customers detail, their transactions etc. The daily expense entries have been created in a user-
friendly manner, so that the data can be maintained very easily.

The system automates maintenance of employee and their salary details, the
bunks payment and daily expenses.
Advantages of the proposed system

1. Less time is taken to draw conclusions: It will be easy for the users of the system to
compile information at a very high pace, measure the performance over a period and
draw conclusion form the information retrieved by using the proposed system.
2. As most of the processes are automated, less man power required.

4. Highly accurate: Information being prepared electronically will be more accurate.
5. Flexibility in generation of information: The generation of reports in the proposed system
will take minimal time and they are electronically prepared. As a result, it is highly
accurate.
PHOTO SHOP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
ABSTRACT

The Project titled Photoshop Management System is developed to minimize the manual

work of the company. It mainly concentrates to automate all the activities involved in a photo

studio. The objective of the system is to make photo order and delivery process much faster and

accurate.

The project approach made towards maintain the employee information, customer

information and all the transactions for registering and issuing of various photos, their details

are stored in a database. It produces flexible reports help the user to get the maximum output

from the system.

The user of the system can easily configure the different types of photos that are being

supported in the studio. At the time of new photo print request, provisions are given to collect

details like number of copies, advance amount, order date, delivery date etc. Order report,

delivery report, collection report are some of the useful reports supported by the system.

This automated project is developed under windows XP with Front End tool as Visual

Basic 6.0 and Backend tool as Ms-Access


EXISTING SYSTEM:

Photo shop activities are presently managed manually. It is always a tedious job to track
the customer inquires from photo order to photo delivery. In studios it is required to handle
orders for different types of photographs. While taking order, employees need to remember rate
for each type of photographs.

Photo studios have to keep track of the advance amount paid during customer order.
When the customer comes back to take the delivery, it is necessary to make sure that the
customer had made the complete settlement before taking the delivery.

There is no easy way to view the transactions grouped daily or weekly manner. Also, it is
a complicated job to analyze the outstanding amount for a given day.

Major drawbacks

It requires more effort to manage customer orders manually

Searching a customer order requires more time

Possibility to introduce errors while tracking initial payment to final settlement

Monitoring customer balance amount is very tough


PROPOSED SYSTEM:

After a detailed study of the existing system, it is evident that is does not fulfill the
objectives of the organization. The proposed system is designed considering all the drawbacks
listed in the existing system. Computerization of photo studio eliminates all the manual errors
which are described in the existing system. It makes the studio more users friendly and does the
work in a speedy way.

Organizing the customer list is very easy here. It is very easy to track all the activities
involved in customer order to delivery. Information being prepared helps for taking a crucial
decision by the management. The proposed system helps to provide for a quick and efficient
retrieval of information. Any type of information would be available whenever the user requires.
The system supports various user friendly reports.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN NAVAJOTHI PLASTIC. This system will be
very useful to perform all the activities in

A systematic approach made towards maintaining informations such as


customer details, supplier details, order details, sales and purchase details. The
primary aim of the software development is to production and delivery manage
company accounting and other activities for PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN NAVAJOTHI PLASTIC.

This package has been developed on Windows platform with Visual


Studio .Net as front end tool and MS-Access as back end tool, careful steps is
taken to avoid manual errors, using validation.

Since this system was developed by giving so many considerations and in a


wide view, it is applicable to the concern. The main advantage of the package is to
increase the speed of information retrieve. Since the data is maintained
systematically any type of information easily.
Master:
Master module contains the information about the finished products, raw
materials, supplier information, customer information and employee details, pay
slip details.

Finished goods:
This is the sub module that is used to store the information about the
finished product. It contains the following information: product id, product type
and price.

Materials:
This module is used to store the information about the materials such as
material id, material type and price.

Supplier Master
This module is used to store the supplier information which includes the
suppliers name, supplier id, supplied materials, address of the suppliers.

Customer master:
This module is used to store the various information about the customer such
as customer name, id, address, nature of the customer that is whether he is
customer of business or personal etc.

Employee details
Employee module is used to store the details about the employees such as
employee id, employee name, address, date of birth, date of joining, designation,
department and salary information.
Transaction module:
This module is used to store the information about material issued,
production details, purchase order, purchasing details, sales and sales order,
payment and receipt.

Material issue:
This module is used to store the material issued details such as material issue
id, issued to, material name, quantity issued, date of issue etc.

Production details:
This module is used to store the product information such as production
code, production name, quantity, production section, date of production etc.

Purchase order :
This module is used to store the information about the quotation to the
supplier which includes, purchase order number, supplier name, order date,
delivery mode, payment details, material, quantity, price, total amount etc.

Purchase:
In this module, store the details about purchased materials such as order
number, purchased date, order date, supplier name, delivery required, payment
status, total amount etc.

Sales order:
In this module is store the information about the quotation from the
customer which includes sales order number, customer name, order date, delivery
required, payment details, product name, quantity, price per quantity, total amount
etc.

EXISTING SYSTEM:

The Existing system in the SEIZING Management is a manual system. Each


and every action of billing is done manually using forms (paper). It takes more
time to finish and also having chances of committing some mistakes for each
action. The maintenance is also difficult for the existing system. Also if the manual
performs the above requirements it takes more time to transactions.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:
In the proposed system, a software pack has developed to maintain all
the aspects of the existing system, which we discussed in the previous session. The
Tools, which we used here, are VISUAL STUDIO .NET for the user interaction
and Ms-Access as Database server.
The backend MS Access would store the soft copy details about the finished
products, raw materials, supplier information, customer information and employee
details, pay slip details. The system will allow the user to modify, delete, and view
any particular record without any difficulties. The system should provide necessary
security features to maintain the records of officials. All the reports that we include
are provided with necessary information and are generated for managerial purpose.

The main objective of this project, SALES ORDERING SYSTEM is to design and

develop a system to maintain and manage the functions of product sales in an organization. This

is an attempt to computerize the day to day activities of store. It is designed to help the store to

perform daily duties and transaction with ease.

The system designed to monitor sales with in an organization. It includes some tasks such

as Customer, Item, Sales Man Details, Sales, Report of the Item, Customer, Sales Man wise,

Sales Area Wise, Maximum and Minimum Item Sales wise Report and etc.,

This project also serves as a prediction tools for various activities of the sales in an

industry. Using this system the user will know about the performance of each sales person and

similarly can analyze the data on product wise and area wise sales. The system mines the useful

information from the large amount of data stored in the database.

The generated reports help as a prediction tool for the user which helps to improve the

overall performance of the company. By this project works can be made easier which will be a

great service to the any sales office. Customer satisfaction is the foremost priority of the system.

This project is designed using VB as front-end tool with the Ms-Access as back-end tool.
1 EXISTING SYSTEM

The Existing system in the Sales Ordering system is manual system. All the transaction
or the information is recorded in the registers and as simple text files on the computers. The
person needy of particular information has to go through the registers and the text files and then
prepare the information needed.

It takes more time to prepare sales analysis data. As individual file is maintained for
every information, it is very difficult to compile information, measure performance over a period
and draw conclusions.

Drawback of Existing System:

The generation of information in the proposed system takes long time.


Verification of data such as retrieved data, collected data,
etc are tedious.

2.2 PROPOSED SYSTEM

The proposed system is designed to overcome the drawbacks of the existing system. It is
computerized using VISUAL BASIC VERSION 6.0 and Ms-Access. The system is designed to
assist and ease the work of any type of Companies, in particular, the company which deals with
product sales. This would comprise the features that can be operated easily. The System would
take care of the day to day activities of the organization.

The master and transaction activities are divided in modules so that the activities can be
operated easily. In this system everything is stored electronically so very less amount of paper
work is required and information can be retrieved very easily without searching into registers.

SCHOOL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
ABSTRACT

The Project is an attempt at developing packages for maintaining all the details about
Admission, Payment particulars and Academic details for institution such as student name,
personal details etc. Display of the same maintaining note books manually is tedious, time
consuming process; keeping these things in mind this project has been developed to increase the
speed and accuracy of the total process carried by our project.

The basic principles involved in the above problem is that all the process are entered in
the notebook .But here in our School Management System the entries made in the book are
stored in the database and later received for the purpose like accounting of fees using a package
namely MS-ACCESS.

solution to the requirement of Admission Details of any institution .All the reports are available
at any time.
EXISTING SYSTEM

The existing system involved in the admission of students maintained all the details
manually. The Accountant or Office Staff has to keep a track of all the details manually is very
tedious process.
There is no easy way exist to track any new additional courses added. Reports generation
for class wise fees collection, bus students information, late fee collection are takes a huge effort
for the school management. It is very difficult to handle the reports manually.

DRAWBACKS OF THE EXISTING SYSTEM:

The manual system comes across several drawbacks like consumption of time,
maintenance, etc.
The retrieval of records is difficult and it is a time consuming one, by checking various
records.
The recording of information consumes more time and it may cause some errors.
Updating process is also difficult because many manual works are involved.
There is possibility of missing some important details while we maintain them manually.
Inability to produce rapidly and accurate reports for an organization.

To overcome the drawbacks of manual work, it is better to use the proposed system.
2.2 PROPOSED SYSTEM

The computerized system is designed in order to reduce the job of manual work by
maintaining all the details of the admission of a student in computers. The modification cannot
be easily made in manual system, but it is possible in our computerized system.

The Project entitled as Sugar Industry Management is developed in Windows environment

using Visual Basic .Net as front end tool and MS Access as backend tool.

This project is an attempt at developing packages for maintaining all the details about

Ryot master, Customer Master, Cutting Order Details, Expected Load and Registration Entry.

Display of the same maintaining note books manually is tedious, time consuming process;

keeping these things in mind this project has been developed to increase the speed and accuracy

of the total process carried by our project.

EXISTING SYSTEM

Some of the processes followed in the existing system are not completely automated. The
details are still being maintained through ledgers. This results in huge effort for data maintenance
and retrieval. These systems are not more user friendly. The system is not support for adding
new features. In the existing system the databases are not secured. There are so many
disadvantages to work with that system. So, there is need to develop a new system replace old
system.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

The system is developed using Visual Basic.Net as front end and Ms-Access as backend.
In this system data retrieval, memory utilization can be achieved. The designing of screens are
very much user friendly. Data entry forms are properly designed. So, that it is very easy for
novice user to work with proposed system has been designed to eliminate the disadvantages of
the existing system.

The system is divided into 4 main Modules. They are,

* Branch Module
* Reports Module

Customer module deals with storing the information of the ryot. Cutting order details
have the information about when the cane is planted and when the company wants to give the
order and the order is given based on the division wise and verity wise. Branch module deals
with the information such as the in charge allocated to the particular area. Gang leader will be
appointed to supervise the growth of the cane and when the cane should be cutter off. Gang
leader will be responsible for the above module information. Reports are generated according to
the user requirements.
Hence, the proposed system is designed such a way that it will eliminate all the problems
captured in existing system
SUPERMARKET AUTOMATION
ABSTRACT

The main objective of this software is to manage all activities of a Super Market.

This is unique software standing isolated from the existing software with all the features

involving all the departments in a single system, which caters to the needs of the

employees, product management etc.,

The software is equipped to cater to the needs of the employee, customer

community in the most efficient manner. At each step, we have tried to add value within

the application, so that the user gets customer delight out of the whole experience.

The whole application can be fully customized to suit the specific client

needs. I understand that it is important to keep under consideration client needs &

requirements from the very beginning in order that the user community accepts the

whole effort of automation in a positive manner. Even a mundane activity like

keying in of date has been supplemented with a calendar application, so as to replace

the whole effort of multiple keying in, with a single mouse click.

The project will be developed using Visual Basic .Net as front end and MS-Access

as backend tool.
Existing System

The super market deals with variety of goods having in different quantities maintained by
manually. Hence it requires the details about the product. The product details should be
maintained. The super market had it s own customers who buy regularly and also ordinary buyer.

The super market must be able to check the stocks in hand. The maximum quantity
required and the last transaction date are also be analyzed with the help of product maintenance.

The customer details and the product that they have purchased and if they had credit in
the super market, whether the credit period is expired out or not are checked by the customer
maintenance.

They purchase the products from any other vendor and sales the product to customer;
they should provide the payment and receipt also by the transaction.

This module used to generate the daily sales report and the credit card transaction report.
That can be extracted from the above data for the use of the supermarket.

All the above transactions are done in manual in the super market.
Proposed System

The administrator is in charge of maintaining the Super Market, daily updating of


information and effecting necessary changes for the conveniences of customer and the super
market. This is the main screen and from this we can view the other details.

Master Maintenance:

This is to maintain the details about the customer and the product.

Customer:

The entries from customer about his/her name, address, the other details and also
whether he I s regular customer or ordinary person.

Product:

The entries that related to the details about the product name, code, number of available
stocks.

Transaction:

This is to maintain the details about the transaction of the product. When products are
sold to the customer

The last transaction date of the customer in the Customer Book has to be updated. As the
information regarding the ordinary customers are not maintained, bills made for then needs
updation only in the product Book. In the case of credit customers, the amount due in the
customer master file h as to be updated (added).

Payment:

This will give the details about the amount paid for the vendor. SMS allows the
Customers to get the products in credit. So they need to monitor the customer payment also
which the revenue part of SMS. Customer can pay through Cash/Cheque/Credit cards. Cheque
payment is accepted under management description. Credit card payments are allowed only from
specific banks.

When a customer pays for the due, then the total customer due is updated in the Customer
file.

Receipt:

These are the receipts for the vendors that are given by the super market. The products
required for the super market are received from the Vendors. Then ever they receive products
from vendors a receipt is prepared and the product details in the product Book are updated if the
received is an existing product or added if the product is a new product to the super market. If the
received product is a new product then the category and the price are determined by the
management by adding a new product to Product Book. They also update the last transaction
date of the product they receive.

Reports:

Report generation is an integral part of any information system, as reports provide the
processed information and highlight areas where controls need to be applied. The successful
implementation of any computerized information processing system depends on the effectiveness
of the reports it products. The various reports that are generated in SMS are briefed below.
Daily Sales report

This will give the total number of products sold at the end of everyday. A report of

and value of the items. The report should also reflect the total value of the sales made on that

Credit Card Transaction:

This detail about the credit cards of the customer. Credit card transactions are reported
separately as this will ease the work of the sales department and accounts department to in cash
the same.
TAILORING SHOP AUTOMATION
ABSTRACT

The Project is aimed for the use of the maintenance ofTailoring Shop Automation.

The main objective of this project is to manage all the activities of a tailoring shop. In this

project Tailoring Shop Automation System has three modules. They are Master, Transaction, and

Reports. Master has three modules; Customer Details, Measurement Details, and Item Details.

Transaction has two sub modules; they are Order Details, and Delivery Details. The

system supports well organized reports like Name-wise Customer Report, Number-wise

Customer Report, Order report etc.,

From this project the maintenance of a Tailoring Shop Automation is flexible. This will

lead to increase the efficiency and increase the profit.

The project is developed using Visual Basic as front end development tool and MS-

Access as backend database.


EXISTING SYSTEM:

The Existing system in the Tailoring shop is manual system. Each and every action is
done manually using papers. It takes is more time and some mistakes are possible for each
actions. The maintenance is also difficult for the existing system. In the above requirements are
performed by the manual is very slowly.

As the customer details are manually maintained, it takes huge time to search for existing
data for repeated customers. Manual maintenance of measurement details may lead to
confusion.

Drawback of Existing System:

It is difficult to modify the Customers measurement details. More than two changes in
measurement may be confusing to the cutting master.
Time taken for each action is more.
Verification of data such as retrieved data, collected data, etc are tedious.
Generating reports on daily collection takes more time
As calculations are done manually, greater chance for errors.

To overcome the drawbacks of the existing system (i.e) manual system, the Tailoring
shop is computerized. The proposed system is designed to give a good interface to the user. The
basic objective is to automate the activities like new customer registration, stitching
measurement data collection, new order and order delivery.

Proposed system ensures that very fewer efforts will be required to take a new stitching
order. Proposed system has the capability to express the information in a better and more
meaningful way

Citizens expect the voting process to be open and transparent and at the same time secure.

The objective of this project Secured Polling System, is to automate the whole process carried

out for polling. This software is designed modularly for voting purpose which can be used by

any organization.

The system is designed in such a way that only administrator is authorized to configure

the system for polling. The system allows a user friendly interface to the voters in choosing the

candidate to vote. In case the user wants to change the candidate at the time of voting, this can

easily be achieved.

The system has another security feature inbuilt. The result of the polling shall be

displayed only after the pre-configured time, in this case, after 6PM. It produces accurate result

in short span of time, and it is user friendly. When it is done manually, there are opportunities

where the numerical calculation may go wrong.

The front end of this software is created with Visual Basic and backend with MS Access
EXISTING SYSTEM

In the present system voting is done using forms. It is difficult for the voters if they have
to vote for more than one person. It is difficult to track the registered voters and the absentee
voting. As all the operations are done manually, it requires huge time for counting and
publishing the result.

In the present system it is difficult to ensure secrecy, security and accuracy. At the time
voting, if a voter makes an incorrect choice, it is difficult to correct it. There is no guarantee that
all votes are counted. The process needs massive paper handling and create security problem.

Limitations of Existing System:

Every thing is maintained in papers. Requires manual counting.

Verification of registered voters is difficult.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

The proposed system is designed considering all the drawbacks listed in the existing
system. The system supports two groups of users, administrator and voters. Administrator has the
permission to create the contestant database and the voter database. Based on the configuration,
the voter can use the system for polling.

The system also maintains the voting status for each and every voter. Once voting is
completed by the user, the system will not allow again voting for that polling. If a voter makes an
incorrect choice, the system allows correcting it. The system can also be configured to announce
the results based on timer setting.

with the text to speech library by illustrating how to go about gaining access to and

manipulating voices, and playing text out as synthesized voice. The application

provides examples of generating speech as you type, passing canned phrases to

Human and Machine, and passing entire text files to Text to speech.

ATM NETWORK PROCESS SYSTEM

SYNOPSIS

The purpose of this project is to build Automated Teller Machine (ATM)

software and show its simulation on a stand alone machine without connecting to

network.

This system accepts Card details from the user and handles transactions

accordingly. The system generates various reports which can only be viewed by

Administrator in user friendly manner.

To use system, the user has to first enter card details and pin number.

Transactions like money withdrawal, checking account balance and taking a mini

statement of account are supported.

The system supports set of administrative features. Administrator has to

login with a valid user id and password to access the system. Administrator can

load amount with denominations into the ATM machine and can check the

balance at any time. Different sets of reports like withdrawal, balance and error

log are supported.


The system uses backend as MS Access for database. The source code is

built on Visual Basic.Net environment.


SYSTEM SPY WITH PORT MONITORING

SYNOPSIS

The intention of this project is to do dynamic monitoring of any

critical/important directory and to monitor connectivity of any external drive.

Once changes have occurred and are detected to that particular directory,

the activity shall be logged in to a file. The activities could be creation,

modification and deletion of folders and or files.

This project shall also monitor the external ports of that particular system

to see if any plug-in/ removal of any external hard drives (like USB) been done.

The information like user name and time stamp shall be captured in the log file.

The main objective of the Blood Bank Management System all the details

in the Blood Banks process. This project has some tasks to maintain the Blood

Bank through computerization.

Master Module contains the information about the Donors Register,

Collection Register, Serology Register, Cross Matching Register, Issue Register,

Test Register, Instrument Register and Blood Group Register. This is the sub

module is used to store the information about the Donor details. It contains the

following information: Donor id, donor name, address, blood group, general

appearance, pulse, etc.

This Collection module is used to store the information about the collection

register such as donor id, date of collection, bag no, date of expiry and no. of bags.

This Serology module is used to store the serology information which

includes the serology id, patient name, date of register, reference Dr.,

VEHICLE AUTOMATION SYSTEM (TRANSPORT AUTOMATION)

Abstract

The Integrated Transport Control Manager keeps track the information

about the Vehicles, Maintenance, Repair, Parts, Employees and Vendors. It

also keeps track the maintenance performed for different vehicles which are

used for transportation.

The super users of the system are the ADMIN and the MANAGERS of

the different departments allocated by the admin. The admin may be the

owner of the transportation organization or the manager of transportation

department of a particular manufacturing company.

If any other vehicle is added to the transport which already exists for the

organization/department the details of the vehicle is added. The details

includes whether it is a new one or taken any loan/lease. Any employee is

newly appointed or the existing employee is taken off both the details are

maintained including their personal details and profession details.

The details of the maintenance that are being performed such as

repairs/services and to be performed are also maintained. The maintenance to be

performed can also be scheduled for each type of vehicles. The details of the

parts/inventory used for the vehicles are maintained.


The Vendors or suppliers of the vehicles, parts and performs maintenance

required for the vehicles. The particulars of the various vendors are

maintained in this system.

Nowadays we are using different type of databases. The type of database we are selecting

depends upon our requirements. Also there are several requirements to push our existing

database into another type. During that time we are creating the new database once again same as

existing but in different database application. This requirement is in need all over the world in all

the business, education, and management etc.,

In the existing system there is no any utility to convert from one database type to another

one. But it is most important to daily database maintenance. So I can develop the project as

convert the Ms-Access database file into an Oracle Database tables.

Defining the problem

In this project Database conversion used to convert the database from Ms-Access file into

Oracle tables. It is used to convert the specified required tables and records from Access file into

Oracle. Also we can change the size and name of the fields. It is also possible to create only the

structure of table same as Access database.

It is developed by Visual Basic, which is a Rapid Project Development application. So I

ABSTRACT

This Project is used to basically for chatting purpose with the remote clients or users on
Internet or local networks. In this project a client / server combination is used to chat with remote
users.
It is important to understand the terms client/server because this project is supposed
completely by client/server model. A server is anything that has some resource that can be
shared. There are compute servers, which provide computing power, web servers, which store
web pages. A client is simply any other entity that wants to gain access to a particular server.
In this system when a Client wants to chat with a user on a remote host, client sends a
request to the server with a identification name like chat-id, the server responds to the request by
identifying the client-id which is already registered in the server domain and when matched that
client request is granted and the client can begin to chat with the remote users present on the
internet or local network.

In this system users can create and manage chat rooms, which can be either public or
private. The server will also store and manage answering machine-style messages for users
who arent online, and instant messages can be sent to those who are. Additionally, users who
arent watching their screens can be paged with sound.
the benefit over other chatting tools is that, with the help of java, the programmer can
create applet applications which can be use the internet as a server. In this system a user can able
to save the chatting information if that user feels conversation is important.

This project consist of two modules namely Server module and Client module. The server
module is used to give the chatting permission to authorized clients. The server module also
maintains the details about the clients who are currently log on. The client module is used to

The main Modules in the application are (1) Admin Module handles the entire Master

forms such as Staff Master, Agent Master, activity master and Location Master, user master etc. (2) Hotel

Module consists of Hotel master it has all the details i.e. name of the hotel, hotel address, contact person

details, no. of rooms in hotel and facilities available in that hotel. Hotel tariff according to the room type,

master screen also included in this module. Customer contact information, group details, breakups of

individual arrivals and departures in the group, customer code generation and tracking will be there.

FINDING THE SHORTEST PATH IN A NETWORK

ABSTRACT

A fundamental issue arising in Computational Experience is the selection of

the optimal path between any two nodes. A method that has been advocated to

improve routing efficiency is to select the most stable path so as to reduce the

latency and the overhead due to route reconstruction. In this work, we study both

the availability and the duration probability of a routing path that is subject to link

failures caused by node mobility. In particular, we focus on the case where the

network nodes move according to the Random Direction model, and we derive

both exact and approximate (but simple) expressions of these probabilities.

Through our results, we study the problem of selecting an optimal route in terms of

path availability. Finally, we propose an approach to improve the efficiency of

reactive Routing protocols.

works become available in digital form, it may be that the ease with which perfect copies can be
made will lead to large-scale unauthorized copying which will undermine the music, film, book
and software publishing industries. There has therefore been significant recent research into
watermarking (hidden copyright messages) and fingerprinting (hidden serial numbers or a set
of characteristics that tend to distinguish an object from other similar objects); the idea is that the
latter can be used to detect copyright violators and the former to prosecute them.

AWARE BALANCING

ABSTRACT

Maximizing network throughput while providing fairness is one of the key

challenges in grid LANs (GLANs). This goal is typically achieved when the load

of access points (APs) is balanced. Recent studies on operational GLANs,

however, have shown that AP load is often substantially uneven. To alleviate such

imbalance of load, several load balancing schemes have been proposed. These

schemes commonly require proprietary software or hardware at the user side for

controlling the user-AP association. In this paper we present a new load balancing

technique by controlling the size of GLAN cells (i.e., AP's coverage range), which

is conceptually similar to cell breathing in cellular networks. The proposed scheme

does not require any modification to the users neither the standard. It only requires

the ability of dynamically changing the transmission power of the AP beacon

messages. We develop a set of polynomial time algorithms that find the optimal

beacon power settings which minimize the load of the most congested AP. We also

consider the problem of network-wide min-max load balancing. Simulation results

show that the performance of the proposed method is comparable with or superior.

The purpose of this project is to build Automated Teller Machine (ATM) software and

show its simulation on a stand alone machine without connecting to network.

This system accepts Card details from the user and handles transactions accordingly. The

system generates various reports which can only be viewed by Administrator in user friendly

manner.

To use system, the user has to first enter card details and pin number. Transactions like

money withdrawal, checking account balance and taking a mini statement of account are

supported.

The system supports set of administrative features. Administrator has to login with a

valid user id and password to access the system. Administrator can load amount with

denominations into the ATM machine and can check the balance at any time. Different sets of

reports like withdrawal, balance and error log are supported.

The application gives provision to setup different Prices for Milk of Buffalo, Cow based

on SNF & Fat Automated process for Milk Procurement and Milk Billing. This allows users to

produce operational and specific detailed level summary reports.

The system is developed using Visual Basic.Net as front end tool and MS-Access as

backend.

personal details etc. Display of the same maintaining note books manually is tedious, time

speed and accuracy of the total process carried by our project.

The basic principles involved in the above problem is that all the process are entered in

the notebook .But here in our Education Administration the entries made in the book are stored

in the database and later received for the purpose like accounting of fees using a package

namely MS-ACCESS.

PRODUCTION PACKERS AND MOVERS AUTOMATION

ABSTRACT

The main objective of this project, Production Packers and Movers Automation System is

to design and develop to maintain and manage the goods transactions from one location to

another location.

Production Packers and Movers Automation System consists of all the details about the

drivers personal and structure of wages like basic, DA, rate per hour. It will also maintain the

client information and the drivers who are attended the trip to which client. Here there is a

contract period for each and every customer up to 5 years. After each five years the contract will

be renewed and the contractor can continue his process as usual. This project also maintains the

vehicles details with its registration number. Also whenever a new vehicle has been purchased,

the container type has to be maintain based on the number of gallons.

Production Packers and Movers Automation System will be generated day by day for

each and every trip attempted by the drivers with their receipt number based on the selection of

the vehicle number. All trips have to be entered by the user for all the drivers.

It is precisely for these reasons, the Production Packers and Movers Automation System

is developed.
SYSTEM SPY WITH PORT MONITORING

Abstract

The purpose of the System Spy with Port Monitoring project is to do dynamic monitoring of

any critical/important directory and to monitor connectivity of any external drive.

Once changes have occurred and are detected to that particular directory, the activity

shall be logged in to a file. The activities could be creation, modification and deletion of folders

and or files.

This project is designed for two main activities, to monitor the configured folder and

connectivity of any external drives. Following are the two main modules:

USB Watcher

Directory Watcher

The USB Watcher module is designed in such a way that whenever there is any external

hard drive removal or attach event occurs, the system shall show a visual feed back and log the

relevant information in a configured log file.

In Directory watcher module, the directory configuration process will be done for

monitoring. Directory Watcher watches a chosen directory and its subdirectory for changes.

When a change is detected the changes are logged into a file


SECURE COMMUNICATION USING PUBLIC KEY INFRASTRUCTURE

ABSTRACT:

Cloud computing is the long dreamed vision of computing as a utility, where users can

remotely store their data into the cloud so as to enjoy the on-demand high quality applications

and services from a shared pool of configurable computing resources. By data outsourcing, users

can be relieved from the burden of local data storage and maintenance. Thus, enabling public

auditability for cloud data storage security is of critical importance so that users can resort to an

external audit party to check the integrity of outsourced data when needed. To securely introduce

an effective third party auditor (TPA), the following two fundamental requirements have to be

met: 1) TPA should be able to efficiently audit the cloud data storage without demanding the

local copy of data, and introduce no additional on-line burden to the cloud user. Specifically, our

contribution in this work can be summarized as the following three aspects:

1) We motivate the public auditing system of data storage security in Cloud Computing and

provide a privacy-preserving auditing protocol, i.e., our scheme supports an external auditor to

audit users outsourced data in the cloud without learning knowledge on the data content.

2) To the best of our knowledge, our scheme is the first to support scalable and efficient public

auditing in the Cloud Computing. In particular, our scheme achieves batch auditing where

multiple delegated auditing tasks from different users can be performed simultaneously by the

TPA.

3) We prove the security and justify the performance of our proposed schemes through concrete

experiments and comparisons with the state-of-the-art.


DATA MINING USING TEMPORAL ASSOCIATION MINING (TAM)

Abstract

Data mining is the process of extracting hidden patterns from data. As more data is

gathered, with the amount of data doubling every three years, data mining is becoming an

increasingly important tool to transform this data into knowledge. It is commonly used in a wide

range of applications, such as marketing, fraud detection and scientific discovery. Data mining

can be applied to data sets of any size, and while it can be used to uncover hidden patterns, it

cannot uncover patterns which are not already present in the dataset.

This project serves as a prediction tools for various activities of the supply chain

management in an industry. This system was developed for four kinds of clients. The clients are

Manufacturer, Agent, Suppliers and Customer. This system serves as the prediction tool for the

user. Using this system the manufacturer will know about the performance of his agents and

similarly the agent will know about the performance of his suppliers. Using this system the

supplier will be able to know about the customer performance towards the products. The mining

technique implemented in this system is Time stamp Temporal Association mining Using the

above technique the system can mine the useful information from the large amount of data stored

in the database. This system was developed for four kinds of clients. The clients are

Manufacturer, Agent, Suppliers, and Customer. This system is a client-server project in which

the user can request the system for some operation and system will response for those request by

the user. The user can enter into the system by entering the name, password, and client level and

user code. All the data retrieval operations are done by using the user code. This system provides

access rights to the user. So only the authorized clients will able to use this system. This system

provides the data base security by allowing only the authorized clients to view the data stored in
the database. This system serves as the prediction tool for the user. Using this system the

manufacturer will know about the performance of his agents and similarly the agent will know

about the performance of his suppliers. Using this system the supplier will be able to know about

the customer preference towards the products. The users will able view the details belong to his

lowest level user only. Thus system provides the client security. This system also maintains the

orders and transactions of the user. Mining the information that the user wants are done by using

the Time stamp temporal association mining. Using Time stamp temporal association mining

method, the user can predict the behavior of purchase and sales of the product.
AIRLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

The software entitled AIRLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM highlights the inevitable

use of computers in the field of travel agency particularly in airline reservation.

This main objective of this project is to help the travel agency to effectively manage the

day to day activities like ticket reservation and cancellation. To do these processes effectively,

the system provides easy interface to manage Flight details, Air route details, Fare details and

Customer details.

If a ticket has to be reserved, the user must provide valid details about passport, date of

birth and communication address. At the time of ticket reservation, when a flight is selected, the

details like source, destination, time of travel will be automatically shown in the reservation

form. The ticket fare would be computed based on the ticket class selection. A unique passenger

id will be given for all confirmed reservation.

The system provides quick and easy interface for ticket cancellation. When the

user enters the passenger id, the ticket details will be shown. When the percentage for deduction

is entered, the system would compute the final refund amount for the cancelled ticket.

This project also provides well organized reports. Receipts for ticket reservation and

cancellation are provided. Flight details, Passenger details, Fare details, Collection and Refund

are some of the other reports supported.

EFFICIENT LICENSE MAKER FOR SOFTWARE PROTECTION

ABSTRACT

The project Efficient License Maker for Software Protection is designed

using Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2005 as front end and Microsoft SQL Server

2000 as back end which works in .Net framework version 2. The coding language

used is Visual Basic .Net.

The project aims at securing the software given to the customers such that

the application runs only for particular count, up to a date, number of days starting

from the installation date, runs in one machine. The application if copied to other

system will not work.

During first run, a license key is generated based on the Network MAC

address which is unique in nature and the disk drives serial number. The key is

encrypted using Triple DES(Data Encrypted Standard) and stored in Windows

Registry. In successive runs, the application looks up the value in the registry and

may or may not continue.


Thus the application aims in protecting the software piracy from one

customer to another.

The software entitled RAILWAY DEPARTMENT SYSTEM is developed using


VB.Net as front end tool and MS Access as backend. The project highlights the inevitable use of
computers in the field of travel agency particularly in railway reservation. It is an effective way
to grow business, improve customer service and reduce operating costs while providing an end-
to-end solution.

This main objective of this project is to help the travel agency to effectively manage the
day to day activities like ticket reservation and cancellation. The system supports to create
customized itineraries with an unlimited number of destinations and receive instant online price
estimates.

The system ensures that the ticket should be reserved at least ten days in advance.

electronically.

Citizens expect the voting process to be open and transparent and at the same time secure. The

objective of this project Online Voting System, is to automate the whole process carried out for

voting. This software is designed modularly for online voting purpose which can be used by any

organization.

The system is designed in such a way that only administrator is authorized to configure

the system for voting. The system allows a user friendly interface to the voters in choosing the

candidate to vote. In case the user wants to change the candidate at the time of voting, this can

easily be achieved.

The system has another security feature inbuilt. Only administrator of the system has the

rights to view and publish the result. It produces accurate result in short span of time, and it is

user friendly. When it is done manually, there are opportunities where the numerical calculation

may go wrong.

ABSTRACT:

The project titled SURVEYS OF CURRENT STUDENT PROCESSING DETAILS is

designed using Microsoft Visual Studio.NET as the front end and SQL-SERVER 2000 as the

back end which is developed under Visual Studio .NET 2005. The project contains following

modules: In this module admin can create new users .he can delete and update the users. In

college module we can add the college details, college code, college name, college category and

description. The transaction module contains purchase; purchase return sale and sales return

details. During this process bill no college code, batch no expiry date, rate college name mfg date

also maintain here, we can add these details, and also modify the details. The reports and view

module contains colleges details and bill details sales, and purchase details are viewable. The bill

details either date wise, college id wise or all details.

The existing system is manual system. Here the staff can register their request for their

salary and their attendance details. The admin verify from the data base. If a particular staff is

verified as a member of the college by the admin, the admin confused their progress to view their

requested details.

It is difficult to note down all the problems manually. Instead it is decided to develop to

an ease the operation. A system is required which is being capable of elimination all the
problems and become useful common both to staff, student and the college and thus the new

system is derived.
NETWORK PROCESS AND MONITORING SYSTEM

SYNOPSIS

The project Development of a Network Process and Monitoring

System is designed using Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2008 as front end and

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as back end which works in .Net framework version

2.0. The coding language used is C# .Net.

Most of the organization they connect more numbers of systems to form a

network to make their work easier to share their files and folders. While

connecting we want to monitor the network system activities for secure purpose.

This Project deals with monitoring the Network Screen Activities. It has two

methodologies one for Client and another for Server. In the proposed system we

introduce current session option to monitor the network systems at the same time

and in the accesses folder option shows the username and user accessed folders.

While client logins to the server, the Client IP Address and System names are

added to the server. Server will display all the user names, from server we can

monitor the particular Client Screen Activities like that currently opened screens,

what are all the files created, modified and deleted.
