Introduction

This document provides an example of the setup in the PI Integration Directory (PI
IDR) for the integration scenario for onboarding/offboarding data that is used in the
hybrid integration of SAP ERP HCM and SuccessFactors HCM Suite.

For onboarding operations (Begin Session, Cancel Session, Get New Hire Record,
and OnboardingCandidateInfo), see the Process Integration Configuration Example
for Onboarding Data for integration add-on 3.0 SP02.

The receiver determination for the Get Offboard User Record interface contains all
objects needed to connect the following two interfaces:

The interface determination specifies the operation mapping to be used to connect

the two service interfaces.

Receiver Agreement

The receiver agreement specifies the communication channel to be used.

For the Get Offboard User Record service, be sure to use the communication
channel with SOAP adapter. The corresponding template is
SFSF_ONB_SOAP_ADAPTER

The configuration for the Get New Hire Record service is described in the Process
Integration Configuration Example for Onboarding Data for integration add-on 3.0
SP02.

In the current release, you can use the new inbound

SFSFOnboardingGetNewHireRecordByExportId_In instead of the inbound
SFSFOnboardingGetNewHireRecord_In described in the above configuration
example.

The new inbound restricts the volume of data transfer from the SuccessFactors
Onboarding system.

We recommend using the new inbound

SFSFOnboardingGetNewHireRecordByExportId_In for the Get New Hire Record
service.

The corresponding operation mapping is

SFSFOnboardingGetNewHireRecord_Out_to_SFSFOnboardingGetNewHireRecord
ByExportId_In
