Activity 1: Hunting for Objects Made of Concrete
Activity 2: Comparing Different Kinds of Cement
Activity 3:Comparing Different Concrete Formulations
Product Idea: Concrete Bowling Ball
Introduction
What is concrete?
Concrete is a composite material composed of aggregate
bonded together with a fluid cement which hardens over time.
Most use of the term "concrete" refers to Portland cement
concrete.
A 200 g 100 ml - -
B 200 g 100 ml - 6g
C 200 g 100 ml 1g -
Conclusion
Sample C hardens faster than the other samples because salt is catalyst
Sample B hardens slower than the other samples because sugar is anit-
catalyst
Activity 3
Comparing different concrete formulations
Objective:
I. Find out how different mixtures
