FIPP - Created event not getting

triggered.
This question is answered

Hi Guys,

I am using FIPP - Created event as the triggering event for my workflow.

https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/1381036 1/7
23/11/2017 FIPP - Created event not getting triggered.

When i park a document from f-02 transaction, the event does not get triggered...or infact from any other
transaction, when i park. But when i give the object key from SWUE, the workflow gets triggered.

Can anyone guide me how i can find where the problem is? Why its not getting triggered?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You have to do some configuration to trigger the workflow, plesae follow the

steps

1. Go to Transcation OBWA

Create workflow variant has

Test- WF Park and post workflow test

Please tick the check box (Posting release) and give the Sub-Workflow
Template Name(wht workflow you are created).

2. go to Transcation OBWJ

Asign the WF variant to which Company code u have want to create.

0015 Test WF Park and post workflow test

3. Use the Business obejct FIPP- Created(event) in the Workflow

Thanks

Ram

Configure the event using the Tcode SWU_EWBTE.

Hi suseendran,

Thanks for being prompt.

Am completely new to BTE and want to know more about what this exactly does. Please
explain.

Do I have to do this configuration mandatorily for the standard 'Created' event in FIPP to
be triggered?

If I have to do it, please tell me what I should do.

Thanks.

First goto Transaction SWU_EWBTE, it is a wizard. So just wanted to fill the required
information there and press next button and finally finish button. thats it

Hi Bhargav,

Use Tcode FV50 for Parking Document. Then use Created Event of FIPP in your workflow
as start event.

Hi,

You need to enhance the User-exit SAPLF051 -

EXIT_SAPLF051_002.

In this user-exit, call the FM SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT and

pass your BO name, event name & object key (document no.).
This will do the job.

Hey Raj,

As the BO and event ( FIPP - Created) are standard and delivered by the SAP , do we
really have to make the coding in the exit? I think there needs to be some FI config be
done for it to be running... Am I right?

Hey Balu,

The event is not triggered no matter through which Tcode I park the document. Also fv50.

HI,

Yes, I think you are supposed to maintain some settings in tcode

OBWA-OBWE. I am not sure about this. I designed & triggered the
workflow using the exit & coding mentioed in my previous
response.

Hi,

Please check on the following points:-

1> Switch on Event Trace SWELS.

2> Clear the Buffer SWU_OBUF.

3> Park the Document now and check which event gets triggered.

4> Check the Event Trace in SWEL

Let me know if this helps you.

Kanika
