Rocky is beginning the 22nd year of the Adopt-a-Family program. This school
wide service project was started by a Rocky student in 1996 and continues to be
coordinated by students and staff members. Homerooms who adopt a family try to fill as
many needs as possible on the familys checklist. The families who participate have
been identified as low-income and our assistance is important. The checklist includes
food, grocery store gift certificates, personal products, household products and new or
used clothing. Families will receive donated items on December 16, 2017. Student
participation is voluntary. We encourage you to discuss the project with your son or
daughter. Many Rocky families make this a family project. This year we are adopting 70
families so your contributions and assistance are appreciated.
