Education is the most valuable treasure that a man should have or attain.

Now in the Philippines Dual Training courses are being offered by various schools
and universities. This shows that the implementation of K to 12 is going in to
success, dual training course or vocational training is more advance knowledge
than the previous system here in the Philippines. In DTS, the school and
workplace share the responsibility of providing trainees with well-coordinated
learning experiences and opportunities. This close cooperation between the
school and the company ensures that the trainees are fully equipped with
employable skills, work knowledge, and attitudes at the end of the training.

The Dual Training System was enacted into law by the Philippine
Government in 1994 through the Republic Act 7686, which aims to increase the
Educational Institutions responsiveness to the demands of the industry by
combining in-plant training and in-school theoretical instructions. It has four
chapters, the first chapter talks about the background of the problem and the
interrelationship of these conditions and concepts related to the problem. The
second chapter discusses the analysis of the problem, the current situation like
the present status of implementation, the reliance of the systems existence on
the industry, resistances of the schools employees and the inadequate role of
the government in the systems implementation. The third chapter identifies the
six key strategies for implementation in enhancing the sustainability and
effectiveness of a dual system in technical-vocational courses. These are:
Surveying the labor market demands, Implementing change, Promotion and
networking, Increasing industry incentives, developing the training plan and
Establishing a DTS Development and Planning Committee. And lastly, the
Conclusion utters the statement of the findings of the study and analyses the
strategies concerted effects with regards to the systems sustainability; and the
Recommendation provides practical suggestions for the implementation of
these strategies.

December 3, 1015 Marriott Hotel, the German-Philippine Chamber of

Commerce and Industry (GPCCI) handed out the 2015 Vocational Training
Awards as part of the K to 12 Plus Project. The awards, categorized into
Motivation, Cooperation, and Innovation, reward companies and schools doing
dual training.

This example of awards should be pursued for it will motivate schools to

make their dual training course much better than the other schools. This is
beneficial for the students because, there will be more choices for them and it
will be easier to enrol. Dual trainings help students who are ready to step up in
the real world even if they dont take college.

Government should fund this heavily and give it more priority than other
projects for fancy living. In this way the youth will be really the future of our
country.
