Dengan Serangan Pada Pasien Di Poliklinik RSSN
Bukittinggi Tahun 2017

ABSTRAK

Stroke masih menjadi salah satu masalah kesehatan yang utama dan merupakan
penyebab kematian urutan ke-3 di negara-negara maju setelah penyakit
kardiovaskuler dan kanker. Sumatera Barat sebagai salah satu provinsi di Indonesia,
menempati urutan ke 10 prevalensi stroke tertinggi di Indonesia. Sebagian besar
pasien stroke akan kembali ke rumah dan membutuhkan bantuan dari caregiver
dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat
hubungan kualitas hidup, depresi dan beban keluarga sebagai caregiver dengan
serangan pada pasien stroke di Polikinik RSSN Bukittinggi tahun 2017. Jenis
penelitian ini analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini
berjumlah 86 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 12 sampai 22 Juni 2017.
Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner WHOQOL BREF, (Caregiver
Burden Scale), BDI (Beck Depression Invertory), dan NIHSS (The National
Institute Of Health Stroke Scale). Analisa data menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan
nilai 0,016 pada bedan, 0,031 pada depresi, dan kualitas hidup 0,657, artinya
terdapat hubungan antara beban dan depresi sedangkan pada kualitas hidup tidak
memiliki hubungan. Disarankan kepada perawat atau tenaga kesehatan agar dapat
memberikan discharge planning kepada caregiver sebelum pulang ke rumah
mengenai pentingnya memperhatikan kondisi kesehatan.

Stroke on The First Attack and Recurrent Attacks in Polyclinics RSSN

ABSTRACT

Stroke remains one of the major health problems and is the third leading cause of
mortality in developed countries after cardiovascular disease and cancer. West
Sumatra as one of the provinces in Indonesia, officially the 10th highest prevalence
of stroke in Indonesia. Most of stroke sufferers will return home and need assistance
from caregivers in their daily activities. This study is intended to see the difference
of quality of life, depression and family as caregiver of stroke patients in Polyclinics
RSSN Bukittinggi 2017. This research type is quantitative with descriptive
approach. The sample of this study requires 86 people. The study was conducted
on 12 to 22 June 2017. The study instrument used a WHOQOL BREF, (Caregiver
Burden Scale) questionnaire, BDI (Beck Depression Invertory), and NIHSS
(National Institute of Health Stroke Scale). Data analysis using Chi-Square test
with value 0,016 at burden, 0,031 at depression, and quality of life 0,329, means
there is difference between depression and burden on first attack and recurrent
attack and there is no difference in quality of life. It is advisable to the nurse or
health worker to be able to provide a discharge planning to the caregiver before
returning home to concern on health conditions.
