1. Is English important in your life? Why?

English is important in my life because I get to know a different language, as well as the world
evolves so we must do to advance knowledge and understand a little of all educational reas

2. Is English important in your career? Why?

English is the second most used language around the world, so today it has become a basic need
for professionals.
In addition, it is indispensable in any university career and allows a good communication with
people from different countries, creating progress in our lives, giving us personal satisfaction and
seeing the world from different perspectives.
The importance of knowing this language is that you can read, participate in forums, apply for a
scholarship or a student exchange program, be aware of the news, among others.

3. Do you think the syllabus of this course is going to help you to improve your English?
Why?

This English course will help me a lot to learn a little more since the tutors are very dynamic in
assigning tasks which allows students to have confidence to make known their knowledge

4. From the syllabus of the course, which topic is familiar for you? Have you studied it
previously? If so, Where?

The subject that is familiar to me is Objectives

Vocabulary I have studied it previously in the school, were subjects that study much in company
of professors and students

5. How has your English learning experience been?

Upon entering the university I already had an English notion what I had learned on my own
usually watching TV, movies and listening to music, and reinforced by the classes I had taken in
high school
Another of the things I have always had difficulty is to pronounce the words correctly, although I
knew the appropriate pronunciation at the time of speaking, sometimes used to pronounce the
words incorrectly due to lack of practice and bad habits

1. Is English important in your life? Why?

Yes, it is important because knowing and putting it into practice allows me to know other places,
I also consider it important in my life to teach my children and at the same time to help them
with homework. As well as consolidate with my children of the place where I work what they
teach their English teachers.

2. Is it important in your career? Why?

Yes, it is important in my career as it helps me to succeed in my professional life for this reason
it is important to keep constantly updated, renewing knowledge and above all having a desirable
level of English, which allows me to obtain better positions in the world of work.

3. Do you think the syllabus of this course is going to help you improve your English?
Why?

If you help me to improve and learn English because they are very dynamic activities that make
one as a student want to learn and that is easier to understand the topics.

4. From the syllabus of the course, which topic is familiar for you? Have you studied it
previously? If so, Where?

The subject that is familiar to me is the Past perfect tense. If I have studied previously in the
Unilingua an English program that has the university of Cauca just as I saw in English 1 in the
Autonomous University Corporation of Cauca when I was in the fifth semester of preschool.

5. How have you learned English?

When I was in school the experience was very bad I took a lot of annoyance to the English
teacher, in unilingua seemed very difficult because I was contradicted but I was much better and

in preschool I did very well the teacher was very active and through exercises Games helped us a
lot to understand the topics. Although I am not good at speaking it gives me a lot of nerves and I
do not have a good pronunciation.
