Undertaking

I hereby confirm that I am aware of the eligibility criteria of Punjab Technical University (PTU),
Jalandhar given under the examination regulation Para No.3.2 which is reproduced below:

In order to be eligible to appear in any end semester examination, candidates must have
attended not less than 75% of the aggregate scheduled periods of theory as well as
practical. Director / Principal in case of affiliated Institutions may condone attendance shortage
up to 10% only for the reasons to be recorded in writing (owing to serious illness, calamity and
participation in any games and competitions with approval of institution).

I had previously undertaken to strictly comply with the above eligibility criteria subject-
wise of PTU for Attendance for appearing in the Final University Exams. Further, in case
of my attendance falling short of the prescribed norms, I undertake to abide by the decision of
the Institute in respect of detention either in some or all the subjects from appearing in the
End-Semester Examination of each semester, which shall be communicated to me by the
Institute after last day of the classes of the semester.
