User Guide for Attendance

Regularization Module on Rayconnect


Why regularize attendance?
As per the Attendance Policy:
1. All employees must report for duty as per the timings specified at the respective
units/locations
2. Employees should ensure that they complete the required number of working hours
per day as per the rules & regulations of their respective unit/location

In case an employee does not report to duty as per the timings specified or does not
complete the required number of working hours, he/she is required to regularize the
attendance through the Leave Management Section on Rayconnect.

The step-by step process for the same (Both Employee & Manager interface) is described
in this document.

Please note that the process of application of Leave and Outdoor duty remains the same
as earlier. However, in case an employee forgets to punch, the same should now be
regularized as Forgot to Punch through the Regularization Tab instead of Apply for
Leave tab in the Leave Management Section.

Employee Interface
Step 1: Login on
Rayconnect and click on
Leave Management
Step 2: Go to
Regularization
Tab
System will display
pending Attendance
for Regularization

Step 3 : Select
Attendance Options
from Drop down list
Step 4 : Select
Reason for
Regularization from
Drop down list

Step 5: Click Update


System will display Record
has been updated
Reporting Manager Interface
Step 1 : Go to change Role
Tab
Step 2 : Select the Role (As
applicable)
Step 3 : Go to Leave
Management
View Employee Request
for Attendance
Regularization
Appraiser can choose to
approve Date-wise
pending approvals or
Employee-Wise pending Click on Go Tab for
approvals either Date-wise or
Employee-wise List
Click here on Fill Status
for Bulk Approval

Appraiser can Accept /
