AMOS System and Usage Login Policy
AMOS is the key support software system for all Engineering & Maintenance Departments. Due to the highly
integrated nature of the system, it is important for the user to note that any records made in AMOS can affect
the job requirements of another user. Hence, it is important to record correct and complete information at all
times. This document applies to all users requesting for use of AMOS.

A. Each user must operate his/her individual login. Logins and password must not be shared.
B. It is the responsibility of AMOS user to record accurate and complete information in AMOS. Any
discrepancy noticed should be highlighted to immediate superior for validation and correction.
C. The user login/password should be used such that access and usage are in compliance with Company and
department policies.
D. Those who are not allotted JET AIRWAYS (I) LTD. staff no shall write suitable remark (e.g. not allotted,
not applicable) in the staff no field. The immediate supervisor/department head shall mention in the
remarks field, the reason why login is required for such a user. Such users will be treated as temporary
users, and they must fill the appropriate fields of this form.
E. Any login not used continuously for more than 30 days, shall automatically get disabled.
F. An incorrect password typed more than 5 times successively leads to de-activation of the login. A written
request for reactivation must be made through e-mail to AMOS team member.
G. AMOS will force the user to change his/her password every 45 days.
H. AMOS will terminate a user session after 4 hours of continuous usage, and 30 minutes of inactivity.
I. Minimum length of the password should be six characters, and should be a mix of text and numbers. It is
the responsibility of the user to set a password such that his/her AMOS access is secure.
J. The department champion or supervisor or section head or department head are responsible for training
of user on the requirements of job. The AMOS team can support the department with basic AMOS
familiarization.
K. All new users must undergo some AMOS familiarization with the department champion or section heads
and will undergo evaluation by the AMOS team before login is issued.
L. A Login name will be provided by the AMOS Administrator with the initial password as jet123 that will
be changed upon first logon by users.
M. All users should use the test environment (if required) for any familiarity of functionality before updating
or recording any information in the production environment.
N. The Department head shall inform the AMOS administrator whenever a user exits his/her department.
This will be required to de-activate the AMOS user login if the user has left the company. If user is
transferred then the login access rights will be changed to suit current job requirement of the user. This
will be done so as to prevent any misuse of engineering records stored in AMOS and maintain the user list
up-to-date.
O. The AMOS champion or supervisor or section head or department head should provide details about the
access that should be provided to the user. User access can be controlled based on program access,
functionality access, and to the form button levels. This access can be of read or write nature.
