A Narrative Report about 24th National Art Month Celebration

Art is a universal form of communication. Through arts we can convey our ideas, f compliance
feelings or experience. So incompliance with the DepEd Memorandum No. 6 series 2015 about 24th
National Arts Month Celebration, Laurel Elementary School tries to cooperate and join this
celebration.
Mrs. Julia M. Sawali the head teacher of the school in her message emphasized the
importance of arts in our daily life. Orientation of the activities was given by Mrs. Elsie E. Bantugon
,the school art coordinator. Brainstorming suggestions were aired by the group of what particular
activities our pupils
will be joining. Pupils, teachers were agreed on having photo exhibit. Each class will have
representative of their selected photos. After that three winners will be given a prize. Pupils
showcases the landscape and natural scenic views. Boxes were provided for photo exhibit. Pupils
were given a chance to vote for dropping a piece of paper indicating a note with winner. After that
exhibit the assigned teachers validated , casted the winners.
Another activities that carefully prepared and planned were singing, dancing , drawing
contest and slogan. Each participant exerted their effort and showed eagerness in participating in
this activity.
The event was culminated by awarding of winners at the end of the celebration.
Values inculcated while doing this activities were cooperation, love of work, discipline,
accuracy, timeliness. honesty and resourcefulness.
