FreaK Factory: Making People Better by Helping
Training Details:
Them Get Worse
DATE: Thursday, January 18th
TIME: 9:00AM 12:00PM - Dr. David Rendall
LOCATION: Region 10, Spring Valley Are you frustrated by disengaged and unproductive employees?
Are you looking for better strategies for improving employee
performance?

Click here to Research shows that most people are not committed to their
jobs and the way we currently manage employees does even

register: more to harm, instead of help, their performance. We think our

employees are broken, treat them like they are broken, and then
wonder why they dont work. Instead of attacking peoples
weaknesses, we need to find the strength that is hidden inside
their apparently negative characteristics.

It is time to stop trying to create well-rounded and balanced em-

ployees. We need people that are unbalanced. We need freaks.
This session will explore four essential strategies for improving
employee engagement by turning our teams, departments or
organizations into freak factories.

During the last fifteen years, David Rendall has spoken to audi-
ences on every inhabited continent. His clients include the US
Air Force and the Australian Government, as well as companies
in the Fortune 500 including, Microsoft, AT&T, State Farm Insur-
ance and Ralph Lauren.

In between presentations, he competes in ultramarathons and

Ironman triathlons.

Prior to becoming a speaker, he was a management professor

and stand-up comedian. He also managed nonprofit enterprises
that provided employment for people with disabilities. He has
more than twenty years of experience leading people and or-
ganizations.

David has a doctor of management degree in organizational

leadership, as well as a graduate degree in psychology. He is
the author of three books:

(@Region 10)

Principals are responsible for several educational and admin-

istrative tasks in their school, as well as held accountable to a
large extent for the academic achievement of students. The
principal ensures academic success by collaborating with
teachers to enhance their instructional capacity and to assess
the impact of their effectiveness as they work towards im-
provement of student achievement. With the ultimate goal of
teachers peer coaching and learning from each other. The
question becomes what is the principal's role in establishing a
culture of continuous improvement and a climate that adults
not only facilitators but learners as well?
