Work with the Risk team to develop financial models, perform risk analysis and report on risk
exposures throughout OPG.

Assist with risk assessment and project planning activities.
Assist with recommending improvements to existing processes and risk management controls to
ensure risk is mitigated to acceptable levels.

9. Job Summary
10. General Instructors are our front line workers, working the entire summer (May-August)
leading in-school workshops and summer camps.
11. Under the guidance of the Directors, Instructors are required to:

13. a) Plan and design workshops for elementary schools classes, and after-school programs
14. b) Create educational and engaging camp activities
15. 2. Act as an Instructor and role model at workshops, camps, and events

Job Summary
Our Integration Support (IS) Instructors help provide extra support for children with
exceptionalities. This vital role weaves between camp classrooms providing stepping in and
assisting Instructors where needed.
30% of the IS Instructor's time is spent on administrative duties such as contacting parents before
camps, creating camper allergy reports reporting camp attendance, and reporting on Instructors
performance. These tasks are similar to the work of a vice principal. 70% of the IS Instructor's time
is spent in the classroom working directly with youth who have exceptionalities.
The IS Instructors may be asked to travel throughout British Columbia to deliver workshops and
camps. Travel and lodging costs will be covered.

Work Description:
Understanding how water interacts with paper is central to the design of more accurate
microfluidic paper-based analytical devices (PAD). This understanding can also be used to improve
the performance of paper machine dryers and enhance chromatography methods. We have
developed novel techniques to measure the spatial distribution of moisture content in paper using
optical methods.
The Co-op research student (research assistant) will work alongside and support a PhD student
with current research. The research assistant will be involved in designing and carrying out
experiments to measure the effects of important parameters like fibre orientation and paper basis
weight on water transport in paper. The research assistant will also assist in analyzing the
experimental results and documenting the results in an archival publication.
