A Vocabulary Parade is Coming

Tuesday, October 31st

This year, we have already started expanding our students vocabulary. To continue to build
students vocabulary in a fun way, we will be having a Vocabulary Parade on Tuesday, October 31st.

To prepare for the parade, each student will need to do the following:
Create a COSTUME to illustrate a word. (Example: Excited, Intelligent, Incognito)
Include the chosen vocabulary word on the front and back of the costume.
Wear the costume Tuesday, October 31st for our parade.
A suggested word list and a Costume Design Sheet will be sent home to help your child plan his/her costume.
Your child will be asked for their selected word, a definition, and a sketch of their costume and
turn into teacher by Wednesday, October 25th.
Costumes must follow dress code requirements. (No heels, short dresses, offensive language, etc.)
