Working as a backed engineer on a new product being developed by the Next Billion Users team. Ma-
jor responsibilities include designing infrastructure and implementing critical features from scratch.
As a defining metric of impact, have made a change of over 30k lines in Java in Google codebase.

Intern at CodeNation Summer 2015

Worked on a product involved in increasing user experience in retail stores using Kinect sensor.
Part of a team responsible for building 3-D model of store automatically, which is to be used by
navigation and shelf mapping modules.

Worked on setting and testing challenges for algorithmic and artificial intelligence contests held

for ACM ICPC World Finals 2015.
Ranked 5th in final round of CodeSprint India 2014 out of over 4000 teams from all over India.
Ranked 11th at ACM-ICPC15 Asia Amritapuri Regional out of around 1500 teams.

Projects BackGammon playing bot using Artificial Intelligence Spring, 2014

Implemented BackGammon playing bot in C++ using expecti-minimax tree and heuristic func-
tions as part of the project.
Bot ranked in top 10 after tournament.

Combinatorial Auctions in Cloud Computing 2015

Used evolutionary algorithms to find better solutions to the problem of combinatorial auctions,
an NP-hard problem.
An overall improvement of 25% over greedy basic solutions.

Face Recognition using Eigenfaces Spring, 2014

Implemented face recognition algorithm by building a set of Eigenfaces using Principal Compo-
nent Analysis on faces images.

Subjective Probabilities Calculator Monsoon, 2013

Implemented Dempster-Shafer theory of belief, using flash.

Project involved taking user from input in flash application and calculate the probabilities using the
model.

web2py: Scheduler and MyReddit Monsoon, 2013

Using web2py built a calendar/scheduler similar to Google Calendar, where events could be added/deleted
and features like reminders also implemented.
Using web2py, built a website MyReddit, similar to reddit.com, which supports various features like
upvotes/comments/posts.

Sport darkshadows, 3 top 20 finishes in the Long Contest.

Programming Ranked 295 in the Indian Rankings in short format out of 8000+ participants.
Codeforces: darkshadows, yellow rated, amongst top 50 in India
Topcoder: darkshadoww, maximum rating: 1746(yellow).
