With the help of various technological tools the Global World has become a small village,
it is easy to obtain any information, knowledge through the help of those tools. With the
help of those corner stones of the technology, we will help our students to be able to
compete and increase their knowledge and ability to learn, grow, share and be a part of
rapidly changing world.

Describe the connection between the research and the plans goals.
The traditional learning in this century is yielding education with technology by making a
variety of resources in depth and available. Therefore we can accept that there is an
inseparable connection here.
Generally, the technology that is available in schools, are smart boards, laptops,
desktop computers, electronic books, educational programs. The students are
able to use these technologies in various times, mainly in class.
School administration, Teachers even visiting parents are also able and
encouraged to use some of the programs mentioned above as well as extra
programs and technology tools for productive work and also to create a learning
and educational environment at school.
Starting at the beginning of the back to school season, later on throughout the
year several times, there are number of orientation seminars are provided to our
teachers, administrative assistants, parents, as well as the administration on
using the technology, for example, smart boards, Google email, Google calendar
and document sharing programs, school attendance, evaluation and assessment
programs.
Students are also a part of these orientation seminars. They are taught on how to
use their electronic books, how to check their evaluation and assessment, how to
use programs for project researching, assignment presentations etc. All of these
plans are added in an Annual plan, and implementation is being inspected
regularly by the administration.
All of our students at school are able to use all the technology effectively. There
is an attendance schedule however, for our preschool students. They too use the
technology.
Our High school students are able to take their tablets home, prepare and work
on their projects. During lunch and after school, middle school and high school
are able to use the technology for an extended time under the supervision of the
teachers as well.
What replacement cycle has been built into the plan; and what funding is
needed to support the replacement policy?
Classroom tablets and desktops need an upgrade every two years. Funding has
been approved by the executive board on purchasing more Smart boards for
every classroom, and transition from projectors to smart boards will be much
more effective; this is aimed to be completed in four years. Preschool students
have been provided with iPads and necessary educational programs installed.
What are the LEAs curriculum goals and plans for assisting students to
meet content standards and demonstrate college and career readiness?
There are number of programs, digital tools to provide our students with an
effective learning experiences as well as improve them academically.
Presentation programs, researching and sharing, are some of the tools that
encourage students to achieve more productive experiences.
In the beginning of the year all students, teachers, and parents are given a series
of orientation about Student Handbook which in details describes the
responsibility of the students as well as the teachers regarding Internet Safety.
There are also programs available and actively used in our school to ensure
Internet safety and provide our students with a safe social media environment.
Various software programs are part of the requirement for teachers and
administration to update evaluation and assessment of the students, attendance,
registration and school transfer of students, Report card programs, programs for
English as a Second Language teachers, Google shared email groups to ensure
close communication between staff and the administration etc.
Parents are provided individual accounts and passcodes for a database program
in order to follow up ad keep an eye on students improvement and evaluation.
Parents are also able to communicate with teachers and administration through
that database. Additionally, classroom email groups are created and parents are
able to inform teachers about their children.
Administration uses Club Texting programs for emergency contacts; severe
weather conditions etc.
Our school provides with desktop computers, tablets, and photocopier machines.
They are regularly maintained and kept updated for students use.
Information technology managers are expected to make sure that servers in our
school are updated and maintained properly. This will help and ensure teachers
using internet, photocopier machines, cameras, database programs, etc.
effectively form their classrooms, staffrooms as well as home.
MONITORING AND EVALUATION COMPONENT
The plan must include an evaluation process that enables the school to monitor
progress toward the specific goals and make mid-course corrections in response
to new developments and opportunities as they arise.
Who will oversee the data collection, analysis, and program modification
process?
Information Technology team will oversee the data collection and share it with
executive board members, and school administrators to be discussed.
In our school, school board members, school administrator, faculty leaders will
be participating in monitoring and evaluating the process. After revision, the
feedback will be provided to the executive board members and superintendent.
Data will be collected every two months; students also participate in answering
survey questions to aid for a productive data. School Principal is responsible for
a regular data collection. Finally, collected data will be discussed and necessary
accommodations will be made by the board and the administration of the school.
The technology and digital media of plan is reported every three years. However,
the status of plan implementation is reported annually.
